"Dr. Feelgood" is a song by Swedish Eurodance group Cool James & Black Teacher. It was released in 1994 as the lead single from their only album, Zooming You (1994). The song features vocals by singer Anne Haavisto and was a huge hit in Sweden, peaking at number two on the Swedish singles chart. It became the 21st bestselling single of 1994 there. [1]

Pan-European magazine Music & Media commented, "Down at the doctors teenagers get cured with a dose of Euro dance that isn't that much different from the recipe as served by fellow countryman Dr. Alban." [2]

It was released as the first single from his third album, Ice'n'Green (1994), on which it appears as third track, and his ninth single overall. It was written and produced by Robyx, while the female vocals were performed by Simona Jackson. Jasmin Heinrich appeared in the music video and in live performances lip-synching to Jackson's vocals. The song was reissued a year later, in 1995, in a new version entitled "Take Away the Colour ", however, this version is performed by Alexia. The first version was more successful, reaching the top 20 in Austria, Belgium, Italy and Sweden, while both versions reached number 31 in France. The B-side featuring on the various formats of the 1995 release is a megamix composed by ICE MC's hit single "Think about the Way", "It's a Rainy Day" and "Take Away the Colour". The song is sung by lead vocalist Tess Mattisson and is mostly sung in English, but also features some French lyrics. Executive producer is Dr. Alban. The music video was shot in Stockholm City Hall in Sweden. It features Mattisson performing inside several rooms, like the Golden Hall.
