The fifth season of Drag Race España is set to premiere on September 2025, on ATRESplayer Premium in Spain and on WOW Presents Plus internationally. [1]
On 13 March 2024, shortly the finale of Drag Race España All Stars, it was announced via the shows social media pages that casting for the fifth season was now open. [2] [3]
On 17 July 2025, it was confirmed that the season will air starting in September. [4] [5] On 1 August 2025, promotional videos were released showcasing the contestants (without showing their faces), announcing the full cast reveal date as 7 September. [6]
This season of Drag Race España is notable for increasing the franchise's cash prize up to €50,000. [2]
