William E. "Kip" Ward is a retired United States Army three-star general who served as the inaugural Commander of United States Africa Command from October 1, 2007 to March 8, 2011. During his long career in public service, he has taught international affairs and relations at West Point, US Military Academy; served as Commander of Stabilization Force, Operation Joint Forge, Sarajevo, Bosnia; was appointed the Secretary of State's Security Coordinator to the Israel - Palestinian Authority; Deputy Commander, Headquarters US European Command, Stuttgart, Germany; and many other progressively responsible assignments. He later retired and served as President and chief operating officer of the logistics, IT, and engineering business, Vectrus.
The United States Army Sustainment University is the Army's center of sustainment training for Department of Defense military and civilian personnel pursuing Professional Military Education (PME) and other associated training in military logistics and sustainment. The Army Sustainment University (ASU) has two campuses. The Somervell Campus at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia, delivers sustainment leader education for Quartermaster, Ordnance, and Transportation Soldiers and civilians. The Adams Campus at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, includes the Soldier Support Institute, which delivers Adjutant General and Financial Management leader education. ASU is a subordinate command to the United States Army Combined Arms Support Command, and is located at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. He served as a general officer in the United States Army directing the Defense Logistics Agency until July 8, 2020. He was previously the Commanding General, Combined Arms Support Command, the Sustainment Center of Excellence (SCoE) as well as the Senior Mission Commander for Fort Lee, Virginia. He currently oversees the Logistics Commodities and Services Transformation Program on behalf of the United Kingdom's Ministry of Defence as a Leidos Vice President and managing director. Williams is the founding chair of the Mary S. Peake Fellowship, a one-year program for next-generation leaders helping local businesses grow, named in honor of Mary S. Peake.
Gustave F. Perna is a retired United States Army four-star general who last served as the chief operating officer of the federal COVID-19 response for vaccine and therapeutics. He previously served as the chief operating officer of Operation Warp Speed from July 2020 until the operation's duties and responsibilities were transferred to the White House COVID-19 Response Team in February 2021. As chief operating officer of COVID-19 response, he oversaw the logistics in the United States federal government's distribution of the vaccine to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Senate confirmed his nomination as chief operating officer on July 2, 2020, and he assumed the office shortly after.

Arthur James Gregg was an American military officer who on July 1, 1977, became the first African American in the U.S. Army to reach the rank of lieutenant general. Previously, he was the first African American brigadier general in the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corps on October 1, 1972. He served in the U.S. Army for over 30 years with his final assignment as the Army's Deputy Chief of Staff (Logistics) and retired on July 24, 1981.
Eric K. Little is a United States Army major general who serves at the National Guard Bureau in Washington DC as the special assistant to the chief, National Guard Bureau. He previously served Director of Manpower and Personnel before being fired in August 2023 after substantiated complaints of rampant sexism. He had previously served within the Illinois Army National Guard as the Chief of Staff until 2018.
