Dubai Properties is a property development and management company based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. [2] The company is a member of the Dubai Holding group. [3] In 2009 the attorney general of Dubai stated that Hashim Al Dabal, then chairman of Dubai Properties, was arrested on "suspicion of embezzlement". [4] The government of Dubai announced the following year that Al Dabal was released after returning $35 million in public funds. [5]

Business Bay is a central business district under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The project features numerous skyscrapers located in an area where Dubai Creek has been dredged and extended, and located immediately south of Downtown Dubai. Business Bay will have upwards of 240 buildings, comprising commercial and residential developments. The infrastructure of Business Bay has been completed in 2008, and the entire development was expected to be completed between 2012-2015. Business Bay is part of the vision of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Ruler of Dubai. Business Bay will be a new 'city' within the city of Dubai and is being built as a commercial, residential and business cluster along a new extension of Dubai Creek extending from Ras Al Khor to Sheikh Zayed Road. Covering an area of 64,000,000 square feet (5,900,000 m2), it is composed of office and residential towers set in landscaped gardens with a network of roads, pathways and canals.

The Jumeirah Islands is a housing development in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, developed by Nakheel Properties, a Dubai-based property development company. The development is located inland from Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lake Towers, east of the central spinal highway, Sheikh Zayed Road (E11), between interchanges 5 and 6. Jumeirah Islands consist of small islands, each containing sixteen residential villas; with varied architectural designs ranging from Islamic to Mediterranean. The islands are situated in an artificial lake filled with seawater, with a land-to-water ratio of 23:77. The complex includes fifty islands, a restaurant, a supermarket, a clubhouse, a gym, beauty salons, a pharmacy and, a leisure facility. Each of the 736 houses has its own swimming pool. The project was completed by the end of 2006. Nearby properties include the Jumeirah Lake Towers and Palm Jumeirah, both built by Nakheel Properties.

Jumeirah Beach Residence is a 1.7 kilometres (1.1 mi) long, 2 square kilometres (0.77 sq mi) gross floor area waterfront community located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is a residential development and contains 40 towers. JBR can accommodate about 15,000 people, living in its apartments and hotel rooms. The Project has 6,917 apartments, from 900 sq ft (84 m2) studios to 5,500 sq ft (510 m2) penthouses. JBR has a total of six residential blocks, Shams, Amwaj, Rimal, Bahar, Sadaf and Murjan. JBR is within walking distance to Dubai Marina, Dubai Tram and Dubai Metro.
