The Dudek Shark is a Polish single-place paraglider that was designed and produced by Dudek Paragliding of Bydgoszcz. It is now out of production. [1]

Design and development

The Shark was designed as an intermediate glider and made from Skytex material with Technora lines. The models are each named for their approximate wing area in square metres. [1]

Operational history

Reviewer Noel Bertrand described the Shark in a 2003 review as "technically very elaborate". [1]

Shark 25
Small-sized model for lightweight pilots. Its 11.90 m (39.0 ft) span wing has a wing area of 25.19 m2 (271.1 sq ft), 69 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.63:1. The pilot weight range is 65 to 90 kg (143 to 198 lb). [1]
Shark 27
Mid-sized model for medium weight pilots. Its 12.41 m (40.7 ft) span wing has a wing area of 27.36 m2 (294.5 sq ft), 69 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.63:1. The pilot weight range is 85 to 110 kg (187 to 243 lb). [1]
Shark 29
Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 12.87 m (42.2 ft) span wing has a wing area of 29.44 m2 (316.9 sq ft), 69 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.63:1. The pilot weight range is 105 to 130 kg (231 to 287 lb). [1]
