Dumitru Volvoreanu (born 1898, date of death unknown) was a Romanian rugby union player. [1] He was part of the Romanian team that won the bronze medal in the rugby tournament at the 1924 Summer Olympics. [2]

Ismailciuc also excelled individually in the C-1 1000 m event, winning the world and European titles in 1963. He retired in 1965 to become a canoeing coach.

Dumitru Alexe was a Romanian sprint canoeist, who had his best achievements in doubles, partnering with Simion Ismailciuc. They won an Olympic gold medal in 1956, a European title in 1957 and a world title in 1958. At the 1960 Summer Olympics, Dunitru was paired with Igor Lipalit and placed fourth in the C-2 1000 m event.

Dumitru Răducanu is a retired Romanian rowing coxswain. He competed at the 1984, 1992 and 2000 Olympics and won a gold, a silver and a bronze medal. At the world championships he won one gold, three silver and two bronze medals between 1985 and 1999. Răducanu took up rowing in 1982, and after retiring from competitions in 2000 worked as a rowing coach.
