Dumri is a village in the Buxar district of Bihar state in India. It is located 25 km east of the district headquarters Buxar. It is situated 8 km from Simri and 111 km from the state capital Patna. Dumri is surrounded by Dumraon block towards the south, Brahmpur block towards the east, Dubhar block towards the north, and Ballia block towards the north. This place is on the border of Buxar district and Ballia district. Ballia District Ballia is north of this place. It is near the Uttar Pradesh state border.

Purvanchal Expressway is a 340.8 km long, 6-lane wide access-controlled expressway in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The expressway connects Chand Saray village near Gosainganj in Lucknow district with Haydaria village on NH-31 in Ghazipur district. It is developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
