Peter Rothmann Rasmussen (born 26 March 1993), [1] better known as dupreeh, is a Danish professional Counter-Strike 2 player for Team Falcons. He has played for Team Dignitas, Team SoloMid, Astralis, Team Vitality and Heroic. [2] [3] [4] In 2023, he became the first and only player to win 5 majors in CS:GO, and to win 3 majors (along with three of his teammates) consecutively. [5] Rasmussen is the only player to have participated in every CS:GO Major. [6]

He was sidelined during ESL One Cologne 2016 after developing appendicitis on 6 July 2016. [7] Rasmussen left Astralis in December 2021, along with Emil "Magisk" Reif and coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen. [8] All three joined Team Vitality in January 2022. [9]

On 23 October 2023, Rasmussen signed to Heroic for the remainder of the year. [10]

Kenny Schrub, better known as kennyS, is a French former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. He was named "eSports Player of the Year" at The Game Awards 2015. He was considered the best sniper in the game, and Duncan Shields, a Counter-Strike analyst, has called him the best player in the game prior to the sniper being changed. Some of his previous teams include Titan, VeryGames, Team LDLC.com, Recursive eSports, Clan-Mystik, Team EnVyUs and G2 Esports. He was a professional Counter-Strike: Source player before transitioning to Global Offensive in 2012. Schrub announced his retirement from competitive Counter-Strike on May 20, 2023, before the semifinal between Team Vitality and Apeks at the Blast Paris Major in Paris.

Adam Friberg is a Swedish former professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player who last played for Dignitas. He is the cousin of Erik Friberg, a footballer who previously played for Seattle Sounders FC. Friberg previously played for Ninjas in Pyjamas where he won his only CS:GO Major, ESL One Cologne 2014.

karrigan Danish esports player

Finn Andersen, better known as karrigan, is a Danish professional Counter-Strike 2 player and captain for FaZe Clan. He has also played for other teams including Fnatic, Team Dignitas, Team SoloMid, Astralis, Mousesports and Team Envy. Andersen was a founding member of Astralis, a player-owned team established in 2015. He began playing competitively in 2006 during the Counter-Strike 1.6 era. He is widely considered to be one of the best in-game leaders in Counter-Strike history.

Nicolai Hvilshøj Reedtz, better known as dev1ce, is a Danish professional Counter-Strike 2 player for Astralis. On his first stint in Astralis, he became the first to win 4 majors in CS:GO, and to win 3 majors consecutively. He is regarded as one of the best players of all time, consistently playing at a very high individual level since 2014.

It was organized by ELEAGUE and held in Atlanta, Georgia, United States from January 22 to 29, 2017. It featured sixteen professional teams from around the world. Eight teams directly qualified based on their top eight placement in the last major, ESL One Cologne 2016, while another eight teams qualified through the ELEAGUE Offline Major Qualifier. ELEAGUE Major was the third consecutive Major with a prize pool of $1,000,000.

Counter-Strike Major Championships, commonly known as the Majors, are Counter-Strike (CS) esports tournaments sponsored by Valve, the game's developer. The first Valve-recognized Major took place in 2013 in Jönköping, Sweden and was hosted by DreamHack with a total prize pool of US$250,000 split among 16 teams. This, along with the following 18 Majors, was played in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. As of the 2023 release of Counter-Strike 2 (CS2), Counter-Strike esports, including the Majors, are played in CS2.

ESL One Cologne 2019 is a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament run by ESL. In July 2019, sixteen teams from around the globe competed in an offline (LAN) tournament that featured a group stage and playoffs with a US$300,000 prize pool. This event and Intel Extreme Masters Season XIV - Chicago were the last events before teams playing at StarLadder Major: Berlin 2019 took a month break before heading to the Major.
