Dushyanth Sridhar (born 1986) is an Indian film director, writer and public speaker. [1] He delivers discourses in Sanskrit, Tamil and English, and focuses on the scriptures of Sri Bhashyam, Gita Bhashyam, Rahasya-traya Saram, and Bhagavad Vishayam. [2] He has delivered lectures in several countries,. [3] and on YouTube. [4]
Dushyanth Sridhar was born into a Tamil family in Bengaluru. His father was a marketing professional and his mother a school teacher. His parents enrolled him in classes at the age of five to study Sanskrit and the Vedas. After studying in schools in Bengaluru and Madras, he studied chemical engineering and chemistry at BITS Pilani and graduated in 2008. By graduation he had already given several upanyasams (religious discourse lectures).[ citation needed ] After several years in industry, [5] Sridhar became on full-time religious scholar and lecturer in 2016, delivering lectures both in-person and on television. [6]
Dushyanth Sridhar worked one year at the practice school at Century Rayon, Shahad and subsequently worked in the corporate sector in a number of companies including a market research firm in Mumbai and in TCS. In 2016, Sridhar quit working in the corporate sector and currently spends all his time studying the Vedas and delivering lectures on television channels as well as in public gatherings.[ citation needed ]
Sridhar also develops classical dance and vocal performances, [7] [8] [9] and wrote and starred in the film Vedanta Desika. [10] [11] He also coordinates the restoration of Vedanta Desika shrines and promotes the cause through a charitable trust. [4] [12]
Swami Dayananda Saraswati was a renunciate monk of the Hindu Saraswati order of sannyasa. He was also known as Pujya Swamiji and was a traditional teacher of Advaita Vedanta. He was the founder of the Arsha Vidya Gurukulams in Pennsylvania, USA; Rishikesh, Uttarakhand and Coimbatore Tamil Nadu, India. He was also the spiritual Guru of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan,, for his service to the nation in the field of spiritualism in 2016.

The Rudrapatnam Brothers are an Indian Carnatic vocal duo, consisting of brothers R. N. Thyagarajan and Dr. R. N. Tharanathan. The brothers come from a family of musicians from Rudrapatna village off the Kaveri banks in Arkalgud Thaluk of Hassan district in the southwest Indian state of Karnataka. Vocalist Tiger Varadachariar, on seeing the musical atmosphere there, once claimed that "Rudrapatnam is the Thanjavur of Karnataka". He is also a producer of Tamil films and Hindi Films through his entertainment subsidiary Lyca Productions, based in Chennai, India, and began with its first film Kaththi (2014). It produced the science fiction thriller 2.0 (2018), which was India's most expensive film and the 5th most expensive non-English-language film at the time of its release. Lyca Productions has also produced Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022) and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023) which are both Tamil cinema releases.

O Kadhal Kanmani is the soundtrack album, composed by A. R. Rahman, to the 2015 Indian Tamil film of the same name written and directed by Mani Ratnam. The Paduka Sahasra is a Sanskrit stotrakavya written by the Hindu philosopher Vedanta Desika in the 14th century CE. Comprising one thousand verses, the subject of the poem are the paduka (sandals) of the deity Ranganatha of Srirangam, a form of Vishnu. The verses of the poem extol and associate these sandals with those of Rama, the protagonist of the Ramayana. The poem is regarded to be one of Vedanta Desika's greatest works.
