Emerson Drive is the third studio album from Canadian country music band Emerson Drive and their major-label debut, it was released in 2002 on DreamWorks Records Nashville. It produced three singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts: the Top 5 hits "I Should Be Sleeping" and "Fall Into Me", as well as the number 23-peaking "Only God ". This latter song was originally recorded by Billy Ray Cyrus on his 1994 album Storm in the Heartland, and in 1999 by Lari White on White's album Stepping Stone.
I'm Alright is the second studio album released by American country music singer Jo Dee Messina. It was released in 1998. Her highest selling album to date, it has been certified 2× Platinum for U.S. sales of two million copies. The album produced the singles "I'm Alright", "Bye, Bye", and "Stand Beside Me" — all of which reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts — as well as a cover of Dottie West's "A Lesson in Leaving" and "Because You Love Me". Respectively, these last two singles reached #2 and #8 on the country charts.

Also included here is the track "I Can't Take You Anywhere", which was released by its co-writer, Scotty Emerick, as a single in 2003. The album was dedicated to his father Hubert Keith (H.K.) Greatest Hits, Volume 2 is the second greatest-hits package released by country music group Diamond Rio. The tracks "God Only Cries", "Redneck Love Gone Bad", "Over You" and "In God We Still Trust" were newly recorded for the album. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA. At the 51st Grammy Awards, Troubadour earned the Grammy Award for Best Country Album, the first Grammy win of Strait's career. The album was intended to include the song "Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven", but after Strait decided not to include it on the album, it was later recorded by Kenny Chesney, and was released as the first single from his album Lucky Old Sun.

In addition to Davis and Capdevielle, the album featured a cast of seasoned studio musicians: Mark "Sparky" Matejka of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Danny Chauncey of 38 Special and Jason "Slim" Gambill of Lady Antebellum all contributed guitar parts; Ethan Pilzer played bass; Jason Spiewak and Bobby Capps played piano and organ; and Sara Jean Kelley sang background vocals.
