Dwain Donald Jacobs (born 28 January 1987) is a Guyanese former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. As of 2021, he is the president of Guyanese club Dynamics FC, [4] which he founded in January 2019. [3]
In early 2013, Jacobs moved to the newly-formed Slingerz. [5] [6] He would then go on to transfer from Slingerz FC to Alpha United in January 2014. [7] In January 2015, Jacobs returned to Slingerz. [8]
Jacobs made his international debut for Guyana in a 1–0 friendly win over Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on 13 January 2008. [9] He would go on to make 42 appearances and score one goal for Guyana from 2008 to 2017. [10]

Slingerz FC is a Guyanese football club based in Vergenoegen. The club competes in the West Demerara Senior League, one of several regional leagues in Guyana. Founded in 2013, the club never qualified for the GFF National Super League, the top football league in Guyana at the time. However, the team has been very successful in Guyana's many cup competitions, including winning the Mayors Cup, Guyana's top cup competition, in 2015 after finishing runners-up in the previous tournament in 2013. The team has also finished champions or runners-up in several smaller cup competitions.

The 2015–16 GFF Elite League was the 15th season of the highest competitive football league in Guyana, and the 1st season of the Elite League. Eight FIFA licensed clubs participated in the inaugural Elite League season. The season was split into two parts. Each half consisted of 14 rounds, with each team playing the other 7 teams twice each. In each round, the top 4 teams advanced to the playoffs. The winners of each half then faced off to determine the overall champion. The two half-season champions also advanced to the 2017 CFU Club Championship.
