Ceramica Flaminia was a professional continental cycling team based in Italy that participated in UCI Continental Circuits races and when selected as a wildcard to UCI ProTour events. The team was managed by Massimo Podenzana, with assistance from directeur sportif Simone Borgheresi.
Dwars door Vlaanderen(English: Across Flanders) is a semi-classic road bicycle race in Belgium, held annually since 1945. The race starts in Roeselare and finishes in Waregem, both in West Flanders. Since 2017 the event is included in the UCI World Tour.
Ronde van Drenthe is an elite men's and women's professional road bicycle racing event held annually in the Drenthe, Netherlands and sanctioned by the Royal Dutch Cycling Union. Jesper Asselman is a Dutch former professional racing cyclist, who rode professionally between 2009 and 2020, for the Van Vliet–EBH Elshof, Rabobank Continental Team, Team Raiko–Stölting, Roompot–Charles and Metec–TKH teams. During the 2015 Eneco Tour, and after spending two consecutive days in the breakaway and winning bonus seconds, Asselman moved into the overall lead of the race.
