Dwijesh Chandra Sen (died 9 July 1984) was the son of Raja Raj Bhallav and the grandson of Rai Bahadur Kali Charan Sen. [1] [2] After independence he became involved in the family business.
He went to school in Guwahati and then moved to Calcutta to complete his graduation from Bangabasi College, where he came into contact with the revolutionaries from Anushilan Samiti. He was arrested during his college days and charged for keeping firearms and conspiring against the British Raj, and later sentenced to five years in prison. After independence he went into various fields of business. He was one of the chief patrons of the Maharana Athletic Club, having played football for the club previously.
He was married with three daughters.
He suffered a sudden massive heart attack on 9 July 1984. His obituary appeared on the front page of the Assam Tribune and Dainik Ahom , the largest English and Assamese dailies from Guwahati, respectively. In December 1990, the PWD Minister Jatin Chakraborty unveiled his portrait in the Majahati Sadan, on behalf of the West Bengal Government. He was awarded Tamrapatra by the President of India for his contribution to India's struggle for independence.

Presidency University, Kolkata, formerly known as Hindu College and Presidency College, is a public state university located in College Street, Kolkata. It is probably the oldest institution in the world to have no religious connection, having being established in 1817. The institution was elevated to university status in 2010 after functioning as a top constituent college of the University of Calcutta for about 193 years. The University had its bicentenary celebrations in 2017.

Prosenjit Chatterjee is an Indian film actor and producer who works predominantly in Bengali and Hindi cinema. He is the son of actor Biswajit Chatterjee. Jisshu Sengupta, popularly known as Jisshu, is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter, who works in Bengali and Hindi language films. Jisshu made his debut in showbiz through a Bengali TV series, Mahaprabhu where he portrayed the role of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. The role overnight catapulted him to stardom. Subsequently, he made his big screen debut with Priyojon (1999), which became a debacle at box office. In 2002, he played Tagore in Sukanta Roy's ambitious venture Chelebela alongside Debashree Roy playing Kadambari Devi. He then appeared in a spate of critically and commercially unsuccessful projects. He made his Bollywood debut with Shyam Benegal's National Award winning film Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose: The Forgotten Hero (2004). A turning point came in his career when he collaborated with Rituparno Ghosh for the latter's Abohoman, which earned him critical acclaim. His subsequent collaborations with Ghosh for films which include Noukadubi and Shob Charitro Kalponik brought him a higher degree of critical and commercial success. Sengupta's collaborations with other directors for films such as Jaatishwar enabled him to become one of the most sought out actors in Bengali cinema.
Arunoday Banerjee, known as "Rahul", born 16 October 1983), is a Bengali Indian male actor of films and TV. He made his first stage appearance at the age of three with his father’s theatre troupe Bijoygarh Atmaprakash in a play entitled Raj Darshan. Since then, he has acted in almost 450 stage shows, with his father’s troupe and with Theatron. He was married to co-actress Priyanka Sarkar. His first film, Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, directed by Raj Chakraborty, was a box-office success. He has subsequently appeared in films including Love Circus, Shono Mon Boli Tomay and Poti Poromesshor. He was editor-in-Residence at the East-West Center in Honolulu. He was editorial consultant to Singapore's The Straits Times newspaper. Datta-Ray also worked in Singapore in the mid-1970s with S.R. Nathan. After the Straits Times, Datta-Ray was a supernumerary fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford.
