Dyrnes is a village in Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the northwestern part of the island of Smøla, just east of the village of Råket, and southwest of the village of Veiholmen. The Smøla Wind Farm is located southeast of the village.

Smøla is the 19th largest island in Norway. The island is located in Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, in fact the vast majority of the municipality is the island. The island has a good road network across the island and connecting it to many of the small surrounding islands, however, it does not have any outside road connections to the rest of Norway. The only regular ferry service is via the small island of Edøya to the south of Smøla which one can drive to from Smøla.
Together with the nearby village Råket it constituted the urban area Dyrnesvågen, which had a population in 2003 of 257. [2] Since 2004, Dyrnesvågen has not considered an urban settlement by Statistics Norway, and its data is therefore not registered. [3]
Råket is a village in Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the northwestern part of the island of Smøla, just west of the village of Dyrnes. Brattvær Church is located just south of the village.
Brattvær is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It was located on the western part of the island of Smøla in the present-day municipality of Smøla. It included the area near Råket and Dyrnes. The Brattvær Church was the main church of the municipality.
Hopen is a village in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village of Hopen is the administrative center of Smøla Municipality. The village lies east of the villages of Dyrnes and Råket on the northern coast of the island of Smøla. The main road through Hopen is Norwegian County Road 669 which also heads north connecting many small islands and ending at the island village of Veiholmen. Hopen Church is located in the village.

Longva is a village in Haram Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The village is located on the southwest side of the island of Skuløya, along the Longvafjorden. It is about 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) northeast of the village of Austnes on Haramsøya via the Ullasund Bridge. The population (2003) was 637, but since 2004, Longva has not been considered an urban settlement by Statistics Norway, and its data is therefore not registered.
Ålvund is a village in Sunndal Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located at the beginning of the Ålvundfjorden (an extension of the Trongfjorden, about 8 kilometres northwest of the village of Ålvundeidet and the Innerdalen valley. The river Ålvundelva flows down the Innerdalen valley, through Ålvundeidet, and empties into the fjord at the village of Ålvund. The Norwegian National Road 70 runs through Ålvund on its way from Sunndalsøra north to Tingvoll and the town of Kristiansund.
Veiholmen is a fishing village located on a group of tiny islands in the northern part of Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is located at the end of a 7-kilometre (4.3 mi) long road from the village of Hopen. The road goes over many islands connecting Veiholmen to the island of Smøla to the south. Haugjegla Lighthouse is located about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) north of Veiholmen on a small skerry.

Smøla Wind Farm is a 68 turbine wind farm located in Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The farm is located southeast of the village of Dyrnes on the island of Smøla. It is operated by Statkraft and covers an area of 18 square kilometres (6.9 sq mi).
Indre Arna is a settlement in Arna borough in Bergen, Norway. While Indre Arna is relatively far from most of the city by road, an 8-minute train journey through Ulriken connects Indre Arna to the city centre. On January 1, 2008, the Indre Arna urban settlement, as defined by Statistics Norway, had a population of 6198. The urban settlement covered a land area of 3.80 square kilometres, and had a population density of 1631 per square kilometre. Arna Church is located in the village.
Skalmen Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located in Smøla Municipality, Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The lighthouse is located on a small islet about 6.5 kilometres (4.0 mi) northwest of the villages of Råket and Dyrnes on the main island of Smøla.
Brattvær Church is a parish church in Smøla Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the tiny hamlet of Brattvær, just south of the larger village of Råket on the western coast of the island of Smøla. The church is part of the Brattvær parish in the Ytre Nordmøre deanery in the Diocese of Møre. The white wooden church was built in 1917 to serve the municipality of Brattvær which was created in 1915. The church was designed by the architect Jakob Parelius Holmgren and the building seats about 420 people.
