The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Cardinals compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) West division, and play their home games at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, a suburb northwest of the state capital of Phoenix.
The Scottish Claymores, known in shorthand as Scotland, were an American football team based in Scotland. The franchise played in the World League of American Football between 1995 and 2004, initially playing all home games at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh and latterly sharing home games with Hampden Park, Glasgow. In ten seasons of NFL Europe play, the Claymores reached the World Bowl on two occasions, with victory in World Bowl '96 but defeat in World Bowl 2000. Their name derives from that of the Claymore, a double-edged sword historically used in Scottish clan warfare. Joseph Eugene Porter Sr. is an American professional football coach and former player. He played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Colorado State Rams and was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the third round of the 1999 NFL draft. A four-time Pro Bowl selection, Porter won Super Bowl XL with the Steelers and was also a member of the Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals. The Steelers drafted his son, Joey Porter Jr., with the thirty-second overall selection of the 2023 NFL draft.

He played wide receiver at Iowa State University and for the Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans, and Arizona Cardinals in the National Football League (NFL). Charles Lee is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He has played for the Green Bay Packers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Arizona Cardinals. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Lee was a member of the Buccaneers' 2003 Super Bowl winning team. Already on probation for cocaine possession, he was arrested on December 5, 2007, for robbing two students near the University of Central Florida, the college where he formerly starred. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and later he planned to work on a prison ministry when released. Lee is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.
Max Hall is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). After playing college football for BYU, he was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Hall played in a total of six NFL games for the Cardinals. Hall spent 2012 as an assistant coach for BYU. He then played the 2013 CFL season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Shepherd Rams are the athletic teams that represent Shepherd University, located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, in Division II intercollegiate sports of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Jarvis Borum is an American former professional football offensive guard and tackle who played one season for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cardinals in 2001.
