The Arizona Cardinals are a professional American football team based in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Cardinals compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) West division, and play their home games at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, a suburb northwest of Phoenix.
The Scottish Claymores, known in shorthand as Scotland, were an American football team based in Scotland. The franchise played in the World League of American Football between 1995 and 2004, initially playing all home games at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh and latterly sharing home games with Hampden Park, Glasgow. In ten seasons of NFL Europe play, the Claymores reached the World Bowl on two occasions, with victory in World Bowl '96 but defeat in World Bowl 2000. Their name derives from that of the Claymore, a double-edged sword historically used in Scottish clan warfare. Jason Steven "Jake" Plummer is an American former professional football quarterback who played 10 seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils. Plummer was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the second round of the 1997 NFL draft, spending six seasons with the Cardinals and then four with the Denver Broncos.
Larry Darnell Fitzgerald Jr. is an American former football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons with the Arizona Cardinals. He played college football for the Pittsburgh Panthers, earning unanimous All-American honors in 2003. Fitzgerald was selected by the Cardinals with the third overall pick in the 2004 NFL draft. He is widely considered by fans, coaches and peers to be one of the greatest receivers in NFL history.

He played college football for the Colorado State Rams as a defensive end, and was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Haggans played in the NFL from 2000 through 2012 for the Steelers, Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.

Charles Lee is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He has played for the Green Bay Packers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Arizona Cardinals. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Lee was a member of the Buccaneers' 2003 Super Bowl winning team. Already on probation for cocaine possession, he was arrested on December 5, 2007, for robbing two students near the University of Central Florida, the college where he formerly starred. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and planned to work on a prison ministry when released. Lee is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity.
Max Hall is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL). After playing college football for BYU, he was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Hall played in a total of six NFL games for the Cardinals. Hall spent 2012 as an assistant coach for BYU. He then played the 2013 CFL season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Shepherd Rams are the athletic teams that represent Shepherd University, located in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, in Division II intercollegiate sports of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Jarvis Borum is a former American football offensive guard and tackle who played one season for the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at NC State and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cardinals in 2001.
