Dzmitry Salei (born 3 November 1989) [1] is a visually impaired Belarusian Paralympic swimmer who temporarily switched national teams to Azerbaijan.
He competed for Belarus at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Paralympics winning the gold in the 100m butterfly S13. [1]
His brother is Raman Salei, also a Paralympic swimmer.

Para-swimming classification is a function-based classification system designed to allow for fair competition in disability swimming. The classes are prefixed with "S" for freestyle, butterfly and backstroke events, "SB" for breaststroke and "SM" for individual medley events. Swimmers with physical disabilities are divided into ten classes based on their degree of functional disability: S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S7, S8, S9 and S10. The lower number indicates a greater degree of impairment. Those with visual impairments are placed in classes S11, S12 and S13. Class S15 is for athletes with hearing loss. Darragh McDonald is a retired Irish swimmer. He competed in the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, winning a silver medal in the 400m Freestyle. He also competed in the 2012 London Paralympic Games finishing first in the 400m Freestyle. He also held the title of world champion after winning the gold medal swim in the 2013 World Championships in Montreal.

Sergey Punko is a formerly Belarusian, now Russian, Paralympic swimmer. He was born with a progressive eye disease, but had normal sight as a child. Classified S12, he began swimming in disability meets in 2002. He quickly broke long-standing world records, and was named World Disabled Swimmer of the Year in 2003.
Ihar Boki is a visually impaired Belarusian Paralympic swimmer. Competing at 4 Paralympics from 2012 to 2024, Boki has won 21 Gold Medals, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze Medal. He is the most successful Para Swimmer in history. As of February 2013, he holds the S13 long course world records in 100, 200 and 400 metre freestyle, 50 and 100 metre backstroke and 200 metres individual medley events. In 2018, he was named the World Disabled Male Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World.
Gustavo Sánchez Martínez is a Mexican competitive swimmer, born without left hand and both legs, who won four medals for Mexico at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. He competed in five events, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 150m medley, 50m backstroke. Gustavo became well known at World Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands, 2010, where he won three bronze medals. His biggest rivals in the pools are David Smetanine from France and Richard Oribe from Spain.

Aurélie Rivard is a Canadian Paralympic swimmer. After winning three Paralympics gold medals, claiming a silver Paralympic medal and setting two World Records and a Paralympic Record at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, the Paraswimmer was named Canada's flag-bearer for the closing ceremony.
Raman Sergeevich Salei is an Azerbaijani paralympic-swimmer of Belarusian origin. He represented Azerbaijan at the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and the 2020 Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo, winning three gold medals and one silver.
