E-CL is a Chilean utility company based in Santiago and formerly known as Empresa Electrica Del Norte Grande or Edelnor. The company, which changed its name in 2010, was founded in 1981 with contributions from the Empresa Nacional de Electricidad SA (Endesa) and the Corporacion de Fomento de la Produccion (CORFO).

The company's activities comprise the production, transportation and distribution of electric energy and natural gas; the purchase, sale and transportation of liquid, solid and gaseous fuels; as well as the provision of engineering consulting services. The company's products and services are principally oriented towards the mining companies and other industries operating in the north of Chile.

The company is a subsidiary of French company Engie and its main competitors are Colbún, AES Andes and Chilectra.

Enel Generación Chile S.A., formerly known as Endesa Chile and Empresa Nacional de Electricidad, is the largest electric utility company in Chile. It was created as a subsidiary of the state-owned CORFO on 1 December 1943 and was privatized in 1989. As of April 2009, it is owned by Enersis with a 60% stake, which in turn is 61% owned by Endesa International SA, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Spanish Endesa Group. The 2015 Chilean telethon is the 27th version of the solidarity campaign to be held in Chile, which sought to raise funds for the rehabilitation of children with motor disabilities. Its slogan was La hacemos todos. It was held from the Teatro Teletón from 22:00 on Friday, 27 November until 21:00 on Saturday November 28 and from Julio Martínez National Stadium from 22:00 in its final stretch. The event ended fulfilling the goal with a final count of CLP30,601,978,621.

The Ramal Talca-Constitución, also known as the Ramal de Maule is the last remaining narrow-gauge ramal in Chile. Its 88-kilometre (55 mi) route follows the north bank of the Maule River and crosses the communes of Talca, Maule, Pencahue and Constitución, with Constitución the last station on the line. The route features views of the Andean foothills and the Pacific Ocean. The line can support a speed of 50 miles per hour (80 km/h). The railway is facing closure due to inactivity and an increased preference for private transport.

Chiloé Wind Farm is a wind farm planned to be constructed by Ecopower in a sector called Mar Brava west of Ancud in Chiloé Island, Chile. Chiloé Wind Farm is one four large wind farm projects approved by Sistema de Evaluación de Impacto Ambiental (SEIA) in the period of 2010–2017, and if constructed it would be the largest wind farm in the whole Chiloé Archipelago. The project included the construction of 42 wind turbines and with a power generation of 100 MW.

Estación Pintados was a Chilean railway station. It was located in the Tarapacá Region about 30 km (19 mi) southeast of the capital Iquique. It acquired notoriety as it was the head of the Longitudinal Norte railroad and the Railroad from Iquique to Pintados and around it a town was formed that is currently abandoned.
