Eloise H. Christian (1890 - 1951) served in the California State Assembly for the 34th district from 1921 to 1925 and California State Senate for the 13th district from 1925 to 1933. [1] During World War I he also served in the United States Army. [2]

Leo Joseph Ryan Jr. was an American teacher and politician. A member of the Democratic Party,he served as the U.S. representative from California's 11th congressional district from 1973 until his assassination during the Jonestown massacre in 1978. Before that,he served in the California State Assembly,representing the state's 27th district.
Anna A. Eshoo is an American politician serving as the U.S. representative from California's 18th congressional district. She is a member of the Democratic Party. The district,numbered as the 14th district from 1993 to 2013,is based in Silicon Valley,including the cities of Redwood City,Sunnyvale,Mountain View,and Palo Alto,as well as part of San Jose. The United States District Court for the Central District of California is a Federal trial court that serves over 19 million people in Southern and Central California,making it the most populous federal judicial district. The district was created on September 18,1966. Cases from the Central District are appealed to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. George Juan Hatfield served as U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of California from 1925–33 and was the 32nd Lieutenant Governor of California from 1935 to 1939 serving under Governor Frank Merriam.
