Ernie Altbacker (known as E.J. Altbacker) is a screenwriter who has worked on television shows including Static Shock , Ben 10 , Spider-Man , Jay Jay the Jet Plane , Mucha Lucha , and Green Lantern: The Animated Series . He holds an MFA in screenwriting from the American Film Institute and an undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame. [1] He has also written a series of six books for children, Shart Wars, published by Razorbill, an imprint of Penguin.

His voice acting roles in animated series include John Stewart / Green Lantern in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Hermes Conrad in Futurama, the title characters of Samurai Jack and Static Shock, and Wilt in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. LaMarr has also provided voices for video game franchises including Metal Gear, Jak and Daxter, Darksiders, Final Fantasy, Infamous, Dead Island, Kingdom Hearts, and Mortal Kombat. He also voiced Browntooth the Goblin Rogue in the Critical Role episode "The Goblins".
