eGT New Energy Automotive is a joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Group and the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
The company developed and produces the Renault City K-ZE and its derivatives, such as the Dacia Spring. [1] [2]
On August 29, 2017, the Renault-Nissan Alliance and Dongfeng Motor Corporation announced the establishment of a joint venture, eGT New Energy Automotive Co., Ltd. This joint venture was created for the collaborative development and sale of electric vehicles in China. Renault and Nissan each hold a 25% stake in eGT, while Dongfeng owns the remaining 50% of the shares. eGT has established its production facility in Shiyan City, Hubei Province, located in the central region of China. The joint venture shares the production line and supply chain with Dongfeng Nammi [4] and produces the electric city car targeted at European market. Its main products, the Renault Group's Renault City K-ZE/ Dacia Spring, Seres Group's Fengon E1 and Nissan's Vanucia E30 (second generation) are rebadged by Dongfeng's Nano Box and EX1 city car.

Venucia is a car marque of Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company, a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. The marque was launched in September 2010 by Dongfeng Nissan. From February 2017 until the end of 2020, Venucia was spun off from Dongfeng Nissan as a separate Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. subsidiary focused on the marketing and production of cars, with the name Dongfeng Venucia Motor Company. In December 2020, Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd announced it would merge Venucia back into Dongfeng Nissan.

Jiangxi Jiangling Group New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. is a joint venture headquartered in Nanchang, China, and owned by Groupe Renault, Jiangling Motors Corporation Group (JMCG) and China Agricultural Development Construction Fund Corporation. JMEV is focused on the development and production of electric cars and was established in 2015 as a subsidiary of JMCG. It was reorganised as a joint venture in July 2019, after Renault acquired a majority stake.
Android Automotive (AAOS) is an open-source operating system designed for use in vehicle dashboards, based on Android. Introduced in March 2017, it was developed by Google and Intel, together with car manufacturers such as Volvo and Audi. The project aims to provide an operating system codebase for vehicle manufacturers to develop their own distribution. Besides infotainment tasks, such as messaging, navigation and music playback, the operating system aims to handle vehicle-specific functions such as controlling the air conditioning.
Dongfeng Nammi, previously known as Dongchuang Zilian (Wuhan) New Energy Technology (东创紫联), is the electric vehicle division of Chinese State-owned automaker Dongfeng Motor Corporation, specializing in designing and developing budget electric cars.
There are currently about 150 active brands in the Chinese automobile market. Among them are 97 Chinese domestic brands and 43 joint venture (JV) brands. Before 2010, the traditional "Big Four" refers to the four major state-owned car manufacturers, SAIC, FAW, Dongfeng and Changan. Other Chinese car manufacturers, both from public and private sectors, like Geely, BAIC, BYD, Chery, GAC, Great Wall, JAC and Seres emerged as the major players with the expansion of Chinese automotive industry.
