Status Quo are an English rock band that formed in 1962. The group originated in London, as The Scorpions and was founded by Francis Rossi and Alan Lancaster while they were still schoolboys. After a number of lineup changes, which included the introduction of Rick Parfitt in 1967, the band became The Status Quo in 1967 and Status Quo in 1969.
The Fremantle Football Club, nicknamed the Dockers, is a professional Australian rules football club competing in the Australian Football League (AFL), the sport's elite competition. Dirty Three is an Australian instrumental rock band, consisting of Warren Ellis, Mick Turner and Jim White (drums), which formed in 1992. In October 2010, Ocean Songs was listed in the book 100 Best Australian Albums.
Shane Yarran was an Australian rules footballer. He played for the Fremantle Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL) in the 2016 season. Yarran also played for Subiaco and Peel Thunder in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and for Kelmscott and Gosnells in the Western Australian Amateur Football League (WAAFL).
Cash Savage and the Last Drinks is an Australian band from Melbourne, formed in 2008 by singer and guitarist Cash Savage. Currently, the lineup also includes guitarist Joe White and Dougal Shaw, fiddlist Kat Mear, percussionist Rene Mancuso, and bassist Nick Finch. They have released four studio albums: Wolf (2010), The Hypnotiser (2013), One of Us (2016), and Good Citizens (2018).
The Music Victoria Awards are an annual awards night celebrating music from the Australian state of Victoria. They commenced in 2006 and are awarded in Melbourne Music Week between October and December. The awards were initially an exclusively online public voted awards, changing in 2013.
The EG Awards of 2012 are the seventh Annual The Age EG Awards and took place at Billboards on 20 November 2012. The event was hosted by Myf Warhurst. It was the last time under the title of EG Awards before changing its name to Music Victoria Awards from 2013 onwards.
