Eagle Ridge Christian School is a private Christian school and biblically based school located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on route K. This school has programs from preschool through high school. The estimated number of students is over 200. The student to teacher ratio is less than 20 to 1. [1]
Eagle Ridge was founded in 1982 by Dr. Mark Carbaugh. At that time, the school consisted of three classrooms where students grades Kindergarten through eighth grade were taught in a Christian environment. [2] The school received accreditation in 2000 from ICAA and again in 2001 from North Central. [3]
ERCS offers numerous extracurricular activities. Students may participate in several different sports, clubs, and Christian Honor Student Association. Each year students participate in Homecoming Dance, spirit week, and Prom. Students are also required to do community service hours as part of their education.

It is located in the southern part of Minnetonka, MN having moved from another location in 2016. The Kindergarten through eighth grade curriculum follows the Core Knowledge Sequence published by the Core Knowledge Foundation and the high school follows a "Classical framework" to structure its humane letters program.
