Early Treasures is a compilation album from Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the United States (Bell 1135) in 1973.
By 1973, Bell Records acquired the rights to release Donovan's Pye Records catalog in the United States. These rights originally belonged to Hickory Records and later to Janus Records, the latter issuing Donovan P. Leitch in 1970 and Hear Me Now in 1971.
Bell Records assembled Donovan's best known songs from the 1965 recordings and released it as Early Treasures in 1973. The album cover featured Donovan in a white robe reminiscent of his Essence to Essence album from the same year. This, like the album covers of Like It Is, Was, and Evermore Shall Be and The Best of Donovan , linked Donovan's current image with an album of his early folk songs.

Donovan Phillips Leitch is a Scottish singer, songwriter and guitarist. He developed an eclectic and distinctive style that blended folk, jazz, pop, psychedelia, and world music. He has lived in Scotland, Hertfordshire (England), London, California, and since at least 2008 in County Cork, Ireland, with his family. Emerging from the British folk scene, Donovan reached fame in the United Kingdom in early 1965 with live performances on the pop TV series Ready Steady Go!.
What's Bin Did and What's Bin Hid is the debut album from British singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the UK four days after his nineteenth birthday on 14 May 1965, through Pye Records. Terry Kennedy, Peter Eden, and Geoff Stephens produced the album. The album was released in the US as Catch the Wind on Hickory Records in June 1965. Hickory Records changed the title to match that of Donovan's debut single.
Fairytale is the second album from British singer-songwriter Donovan. It was first released in the UK on 22 October 1965 through Pye Records. The US version of Fairytale was released by Hickory Records in November 1965 with a slightly different set of songs. Peter Eden, Geoff Stephens and Terry Kennedy produced the original album.
A Gift From a Flower to a Garden is the fifth album from British singer-songwriter Donovan, and marks the first double album of his career and one of the first box sets in rock music. It was released in the US in December 1967 and in the UK on 16 April 1968. In December 1967, Epic Records also released each of the two records from A Gift From a Flower to a Garden as separate albums in the US. The first record was released as Wear Your Love Like Heaven, and the second record was released as For Little Ones. This was done to allow budgeting for the double album package, which included a folder of the printed lyrics to the second disc with artwork, and a cover featuring an infrared photo of Donovan by Karl Ferris who was his and Jimi Hendrix's personal photographer.
The Hurdy Gurdy Man is the sixth studio album by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the US in October 1968, but not in the UK, because of a continuing contractual dispute that also prevented Sunshine Superman and Mellow Yellow from being released there. A songbook of lead sheets to the album was nonetheless issued in both countries.
Open Road is the eighth studio album, and ninth overall, from British singer-songwriter Donovan and the debut album from the short-lived band Open Road. While his previous work was composed by his playing solo on acoustic guitar and then recorded with a shifting cast of session musicians, Open Road was Donovan's effort toward writing and recording music as a member of a band.
Live in Japan – Spring Tour 1973 is the twelfth album from British singer-songwriter Donovan. It was only released in Japan in 1973. The album has never been released in either the United States or the United Kingdom.

Rising was retitled The Classics Live in the United States, 25 Years in Concert in Europe and Atlantis in the UK for marketing reasons. Since the release of Rising, there have been many reissues of the songs from the album under many different titles.

There is an Ocean is a film documenting the Scottish songwriter Donovan during his time spent in Greece with his band Open Road in 1970. The film remained unreleased until 2005 when it was included in the box set Try for the Sun: The Journey of Donovan.
