duPont Manual High School is a public magnet high school located in the Old Louisville neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, United States. It serves students in grades 9–12. It is a part of the Jefferson County Public School District. DuPont Manual is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School.
Jessamine County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2020 census, the population was 52,991. Its county seat is Nicholasville. The county was founded in December 1798. Jessamine County is part of the Lexington-Fayette, KY Metropolitan Statistical Area. It is within the Inner Blue Grass region, long a center of farming and blooded stock raising, including thoroughbred horses. The legislature established a commercial wine industry here in the late 18th century.

The 9th Grade Center, a section of the building where all of the 9th grade classes were located, along with a separate library, cafeteria, and gym, was replaced by the new "Phoenix Horizon" a program where kids who were struggling in normal classes, or having behavior issues could go and learn without the distractions of a normal classroom.

The high school was named after test pilot and politician William J. "Pete" Knight. The school has received much recognition for its band program which has placed first in many events.
