<i>Heredity</i> (journal) Academic journal

Heredity is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Nature Portfolio. It covers heredity in a biological sense, i.e. genetics. The journal was founded by Ronald Fisher and C. D. Darlington in 1947 and is the official journal of The Genetics Society. From 1996 the publishing was taken over by Nature Portfolio. The editor-in-chief is Sara Goodacre.

Michael L. Rosenzweig is a professor of ecology and evolutionary biology at the University of Arizona who has developed and popularized the concept of Reconciliation ecology. <i>American Journal of Primatology</i> Academic journal

The American Journal of Primatology is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal and the official journal of the American Society of Primatologists. It was established in 1981 and covers all areas of primatology, including the behavioral ecology, conservation biology, evolutionary biology, life history, demography, paleontology, physiology, endocrinology, genetics, molecular genetics, and psychobiology of non-human primates. Besides its regular issues, the journal publishes a yearly supplementary issue detailing the program of the society's annual meetings. The editor-in-chief is Karen Bales. The types of papers published are: original research papers, review articles, book reviews, commentaries, and plenary addresses.

The American Journal of Biological Anthropology is a peer-reviewed scientific journal and the official journal of the American Association of Biological Anthropologists. It was established in 1918 by Aleš Hrdlička.

Acta Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica is a peer-reviewed, open access, medical journal covering gynecology, female urology, gynecologic oncology and fertility. The journal is published by Wiley-Blackwell, for the Nordic Federation of Societies of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The editor in chief is Ganesh Acharya. Diversity and Distributions is a bimonthly peer-reviewed scientific journal on conservation biogeography. It was established in 1993 as Biodiversity Letters. The journal covers the applications of biogeographical principles, theories, and analyses to problems concerning the conservation of biodiversity. The editors-in-chief are K.C. Burns, Luca Santini, and Aibin Zhan, who took over from Janet Franklin in 2019. After over two decades as editor-in-chief, David M. Richardson stepped down from the role in December 2015. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2018 impact factor of 4.092, ranking it 2nd out of 37 journals in the category "Biodiversity Conservation" and 20th out of 134 journals in the category "Ecology".

Biotropica is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the Association for Tropical Biology & Conservation. The journal publishes articles describing original research on the ecology, conservation and management of tropical ecosystems and on the evolution, behavior, and population biology of tropical organisms. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2018 impact factor of 2.989.

The Nordic Journal of Botany is a monthly peer-reviewed scientific journal of botany, including the plant ecology, taxonomy, evolution, conservation, and biogeography of plants, algae, bryophytes, and fungi. It originated from four botanical journals, Botanisk Tidsskrift, Friesia, Norwegian Journal of Botany, and Botaniska Notiser, that merged as one.
