Eddo Stern (born 1972 in Tel Aviv) is a California-based artist and developer known for creating experimental video games, game art and machinima-based works. Stern was a founding member of the physical-computing based collective and artist-run space C-Level. [1] He holds a BA in Electronic Media and Art from University of California at Santa Cruz and an MFA in Art and Integrated Media from California Institute of the Arts. A professor at University of California Los Angeles' Design Media Arts program, he is additionally the director of the UCLA Game Lab. [2] [3]

Eddo Stern's work has been exhibited in a number of prestigious institutions including but not limited to the Sundance Film Festival, Tate Gallery Liverpool, The Haifa Museum of Art, Museo Reina Sofia, the Walker Art Center, Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, The New Museum, The Rotterdam Film Festival, The Kitchen, The Art Gallery of Ontario, Machine Project, The British Film Institute, and The Adelaide Film Festival. Eric Zimmerman is an American game designer and the co-founder and CEO of Gamelab, a computer game development company based in Manhattan. GameLab is known for the game Diner Dash. Each year Zimmerman hosts the Game Design Challenge at the Game Developers Conference. Craft Contemporary, formerly the Craft and Folk Art Museum, is a non-profit, non-collecting arts museum dedicated to showcasing contemporary craft in Los Angeles, California. Her work was included in the 2017 Whitney Biennial. She was an editor for freeindiegam.es, a curated collection of free, independently produced games. She was a columnist for online PC gaming magazine Rock, Paper, Shotgun.

Auriea Harvey and Michaël Samyn are two artists who collaborate on creating art video games. Auriea Harvey is a Professor for Games at the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

Mattie Brice is an independent video game designer, critic, educator, and industry activist. Her games and writing focus on diversity initiatives in the games industry, discussing the perspective of marginalized minority voices to publications like Paste, Kotaku, and The Border House. Her games are freeware and do not require programming to create.

Angela Washko is an American new media artist and facilitator based in New York. She is currently associate professor of art at Carnegie Mellon University. Washko mobilizes communities and creates new forums for discussions of feminism where they do not exist.

Chambara is a stealth game developed by Team OK and published by USC Games Publishing. It was released on July 26, 2016, for PlayStation 4, and on December 12, 2017, for PC and MacOS.

Renga is a shoot 'em up video game developed and published by British studio wallFour. Designed for movie theaters for up to one hundred players, players are given laser pointers and are tasked with cooperatively building and defending a space ship. It was showcased at 2012's Indiecade, where it won the Developers Choice Award.

Aaron Rasmussen is an American CEO and game designer. He is a co-founder of MasterClass, an online education platform, USMechatronics and Harcos Laboratories and the founder of Outlier.org, a college level education platform that offers online college courses. In 2012, he and co-creator Michael T. Astolfi created and crowdfunded BlindSide, a survival/horror adventure game, which was a finalist at IndieCade 2012. In 2005, while a student at Boston University, he invented a robotic sentry gun.
