Edith Hammar (born 1992) is a Finland Swedish artist and illustrator. They debuted with their first book in 2020 with the graphic novel Homo Line.
Hammar was born and grew up in Helsinki, but has also lived in Stockholm and currently resides in Gothenburg. [1] In 2017 they graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in fine art from the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. [2] [3] [4] Hammar is non-binary. [5]
Hammar has published two graphic novels, Homo Line (2020) and Portal (2023). Portal received the queer literature award Prisma for Comic of the Year in December 2023. [6] [7] In 2021 they designed a memorial to the first recorded Swedish LGBT march, which took place in Örebro in 1971. The memorial is displayed outside Örebro City Hall. [8]
Tove Marika Jansson was a Swedish-speaking Finnish author, novelist, painter, illustrator and comic strip author. Brought up by artistic parents, Jansson studied art from 1930 to 1938 in Helsinki, Stockholm, and Paris. She held her first solo art exhibition in 1943. Over the same period, she penned short stories and articles for publication, and subsequently drew illustrations for book covers, advertisements, and postcards. She continued her work as an artist and writer for the rest of her life.

The 2021 Allsvenskan was the 97th season since its establishment in 1924 of Sweden's top-level football league, Allsvenskan. A total of 16 teams participated. Malmö FF were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season, and they defended the championship in the 30th and final round on 4 December 2021 and secured their 22nd Swedish championship title by playing a scoreless tie at home against Halmstads BK, resulting in Malmö FF winning the title on better goal difference than the runner-up (AIK). This was the first time the title was defended since 2017, and the third consecutive defense of the title that went to Malmö FF, having also defended the title in 2014.

Prisma is an annual literary award for Nordic queer literature. The award was started on the initiative of the queer bookstore Page 28 in Malmö and the platform Bögbibblan. The inaugural awards were given in December 2023. The awards have been viewed positively for their larger size and ambitions, including a total of seven categories, each with separate jury groups for a total of 50 jury members.
