Educor is a supplier of private tertiary education in South Africa. Not all of their colleges are accredited. Educor is an abbreviation for the Education Investment Corporation Limited. Educor owns various brands, including Damelin (deregistered by South African government) [1] , CityVarsity (deregistered by South African government) [2] , ICESA (deregistered by South African government) [3] , Durban Central Technical College, Intec College, Damelin Correspondence College (deregistered by South African government) [4] , and Lyceum College [5] (deregistered by South African government) [6] . In January 2008, Educor was purchased from Media 24 by National Pride Trading 452 (Pty) Ltd. [5]

Damelin is the oldest and most profitable education subsidiary owned by Educor. By November 2012, over one million students had graduated from Damelin. In March 2024 it was deregistered for non-compliance along with other institutions under the Educor umbrella, CityVarsity, Intec and Lyceum College. The group has been accused by the Minister of Higher Education and Training of "unethical conduct, dysfunctional practices, bribery and other elements of corruption."
