Edward C. Notbohm was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly during the 1895 session. [1] A native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Notbohm represented the 7th District of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He was a Republican.

Charles Manegold Jr. was a founding father of the Milwaukee Parks Department. Manegold was president of the Milwaukee-Waukesha Brewing Company, with plant at No. 155 South Water Street in Milwaukee, was born September 15, 1851, in the city which is still his home. His father, Charles Manegold, was a native of Braunschweig, Germany, and came to the United States in 1848. For a time he resided in Cincinnati, Ohio, and then removed to Milwaukee. He was a blacksmith by trade but in later life turned his attention to the ice business in this city and in 1868 built a flour mill on South Water street, which he continued to own and operate until his death in May 1879, his son Charles Jr., being associated with him in this undertaking. He was an active and progressive businessman and he enjoyed the respect and confidence of all. His father was Henry Manegold, who was likewise a blacksmith by trade. The mother of Charles Manegold Jr. bore the maiden name of Wilhelmina Notbohm, and she too was born in Braunschweig, Germany, while her death occurred in Milwaukee in 1909. Our subject has two brothers, Henry and William, who are yet regents of Milwaukee, the former now living retired. Two other brothers, Fred and Albert Manegold are deceased.
Mandela Barnes is an American politician serving as the 45th lieutenant governor of Wisconsin since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, Barnes is a former state representative.
The 2018 Wisconsin gubernatorial election took place on November 6, 2018. It occurred concurrently with a Senate election in the state, elections to the state’s U.S. House seats, and various other elections. Incumbent Republican Governor Scott Walker sought re-election to a third term, and was challenged by Democratic candidate and then-Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Evers, as well as Libertarian Phil Anderson and independent Maggie Turnbull. Evers, along with his running mate Mandela Barnes, managed to defeat Walker and Lieutenant Governor Rebecca Kleefisch in a closely fought and widely watched race, ending unified Republican control of the state. This was the only state in the 2018 United States gubernatorial elections to elect a Democratic governor while voting more Republican than the national average.
The global COVID-19 pandemic struck the U.S. state of Wisconsin in early February 2020. As of September 2, 2020, Wisconsin public health authorities reported 545 cases of COVID-19, for a cumulative total of 77,219 cases. Thirty-eight hospitalizations and 12 deaths were reported over the past 24 hours; increasing the statewide death toll to 1,142. Although Wisconsin has so far experienced just 196 deaths per million population, compared to the national average of 574, COVID-19 is on track to be one of the leading causes of death in Wisconsin in 2020.
Two major elections will be held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin in 2020. The largest will be the general and presidential election, scheduled to be held on November 3, 2020, as part of the 2020 United States elections in which all 50 states plus the District of Columbia will participate. All of the state's eight seats in the United States House of Representatives are up for election, as well as sixteen seats in the Wisconsin Senate and all seats in the Wisconsin Assembly. Voters will also choose ten electors to represent them in the Electoral College, which will then participate in selecting the president of the United States. There will be a primary election held for these offices on August 11, 2020.
