He rose to fame after associating with Kwathu Drama Group in which he was in the part of the duo ‘Izeki ndi Jacobo’. He was also a pastor at Synagogue of Hope Church in Blantyre. He died in 2016 on Sunday at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre after a long illness. He partnered with Eric Mabedi in Izeki ndi Jakobo plays.
Eric Mabedi was a Malawian comedian and actor better known by his stage name as Jakobo. He gained national recognition after associating with Kwathu Drama Group in which he was in the part of the duo ‘Izeki ndi Jacobo’. He died on Monday,2 August 2021,at Mwaiwathu Private Hospital in Blantyre due to COVID-19. He partnered with John Nyanga in Izeki ndi Jakobo plays. He came from Thumbwe village in Chiradzulu district. He was also associated with Bon Kalindo who is popularly known as Winiko.

Kwathu Drama Group is a Malawian oldest drama group mainly composed of Eric Mabedi and John Nyanga,who died in 2021,that started in 1980. Mabedi died in 2022 after suffering from severe kidney damage. In 2020,the ensemble blamed the hospitality industry of Malawi for not supporting,improving and upgrading the status of stage performances in the country. In 2013,Kwathu Drama took campaigns against inequality in the country about the LGBQ.
Alleluya Band is an oldest Malawian music group founded by Paul Banda his brother Lucius Banda from Balaka. The band started and rose to fame in 1970s. The band's current leader is Coss Chiwalo. In 2021,the group released their 13th album in May. In 2018 and 2019,the band visited Rome and met with Pope Francis for Panama for World Youth Day. In 2020,after the band embarked from Italy,they were quarantined due to Covid-19. The band has also shared stage with different artists such as Skeffa Chimoto and Dan Lufani.

He is the founder and CEO of Simama Industries,a conglomerate with interests in the construction,real estate,and agriculture. He is also the senior pastor and the founder of the Glorious Light International Church,which is headquartered in Lilongwe and has written several books on spirituality and leadership. He is the founder of Simama Hotel located in the capital Malawi.

Mizaya Princess Chitsulo,best known as Princess Chitsulo,is a Malawian gospel singer,activist and businesswoman. Angel Mbekeani,best known as Sangie, is a Malawian reggae artist and songwriter. In 2015,she won as the best female artist of the year in UMP Awards. In 2016 and 2019,she was nominated in the same awards in Best Female Artist of the Year. In 2017,she won in the same awards in Best Female Act.
Evans Zangazanga popularly known as Piksy is a Malawian musician. In 2015,he was nominated for the Best Male Southern Africa category in Kora Awards. He was the Brand Ambassador for Airtel for over 2 years commencing on 1 August 2012 and through 30 November 2015.
Chifuniro Steven Magalasi,best professionally known as Eli Njuchi,is a Malawian singer and songwriter. In 2018,he won a UMP Award in Best New Act. In 2019,he won another UMP award as the best male of the year.
