EeStairs is a designer and manufacturer of staircases and balustrades [1] [2] and inventor of the patented 1m2 staircase. EeStairs has offices in the UK, Europe and the USA. Its headquarters are located in the Netherlands.

History

Founded in 2000 as a construction company, EeStairs was originally named Cluistra RVS. In the subsequent years the company specialized in staircase design and manufacturing and was renamed EeStairs. The founders of EeStairs are Dick Cluistra and Cornelis van Vlastuin [3] [4] [5]

1m2 staircase

One of the products of EeStairs is the 1m2 staircase. It is a small staircase using only 1m2. [6] [7] [8] EeStairs patented the 1m2 staircase in 2007. [9]

Design competition

Since the year 2000 EeStairs organized a 'Staircase of the year' competition in The Netherlands. [10] [11] In 2014 EeStairs organized the first international design competition. The winners were architecture students from Russia and the Czech Republic. [12] [13]

Tuschinski Theatre

Canals of Amsterdam Grachten dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age; UNESCO World Heritage Site

Amsterdam, capital of the Netherlands, has more than 100 kilometers (62 mi) of grachten (canals), about 90 islands and 1,500 bridges. The three main canals, dug in the 17th century during the Dutch Golden Age, form concentric belts around the city, known as the Grachtengordel. Alongside the main canals are 1550 monumental buildings. The 17th-century canal ring area, including the Prinsengracht, Keizersgracht, Herengracht and Jordaan, were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, contributing to Amsterdam's fame as the "Venice of the North".

ASWH Dutch association football club

VV ASWH, short for Voetbalvereniging Altijd Sterker Worden Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, is an association football club from Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Netherlands. The club was founded in 1929. Ascending gradually through the ranks, ASWH played 2016–2019 in the Saturday Derde Divisie and now plays in the Tweede Divisie, the third tier of the Netherlands.

Caribbean Netherlands Overseas region of the Netherlands

The Caribbean Netherlands are the three special municipalities of the Netherlands that are located in the Caribbean Sea. ZJA Dutch architect firm

ZJA is a Dutch architectural studio located in Amsterdam and founded in 1990 by Rein Jansma and Moshé Zwarts (1937-2019). To date, the studio has approximately 50 staff and the partners are Rein Jansma, Ralph Kieft, Reinald Top and Rob Torsing.

AVRO Studios

AVRO Studios is a building complex and national heritage site in Hilversum, where the radio and TV studios and the head office of the Dutch public broadcasting association AVRO were located until 2000. The buildings have since been used by other companies for different purposes.
