Efthymios Kalaras is a paralympic athlete from Greece competing mainly in category F54 discus throw events.
Efthymios twice competed in the discus at the Paralympics, the first time in the 2004 Summer Paralympics led to a silver medal. He could not match this performance in the 2008 Summer Paralympics where he finished fifth. [1]

Namibia made its Paralympic Games début at the 1992 Summer Paralympics in Barcelona. These were the first Summer Paralympics to be held since the country's accession to independence from South Africa in 1990, and thus the first Games in which Namibia was able to take part. Greece sent a delegation to compete at the 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi, Russia from 7–16 March 2014. This was Greece's third appearance at a Winter Paralympic Games. Their only athlete was alpine skier Efthymios Kalaras. He suffered a spinal cord injury two decades before these Paralympics, and was a returning Paralympic silver medalist from the 2004 Summer Paralympics in the discus throw. He finished 22nd in the sitting giant slalom, nearly a minute behind the gold medal time.
Jerzy Dabrowski competed for Poland in the men's standing volleyball event at the 1988 Summer Paralympics, where he won a bronze medal.
