Eigen Wereld is Opgezwolle's third album, released on the Dutch TopNotch label.

Opgezwolle was a Dutch rap formation consisting of MCs Sticky Steez and Phreako Rico, and beatmaker DJ Dippy Delic.

TopNotch is a Dutch record label specializing in hip-hop. The label was founded in 1995, and is run by Moussa Assuom and Kees de Koning. After some commercial success it became allied with Virgin EMI Records, and since 2004 has a marketing and distribution deal with PIAS Entertainment Group. It has expanded into Dutch-language music by singer-songwriters such as Lucky Fonz III, and in 2009 signed a distribution and marketing agreement with Universal Music Group. Still praised in 2009 as "the brand for high-quality Dutch hip-hop", it sought to expand into other musical genres.

Robert Alan Krieger is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter best known as the guitarist of the rock band The Doors; as such he has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Krieger wrote or co-wrote many of the Doors' songs, including the hits "Light My Fire", "Love Me Two Times", "Touch Me", and "Love Her Madly". After the Doors disbanded, Krieger continued his performing and recording career with other musicians including former Doors band mates John Densmore and Ray Manzarek. "Dragostea Din Tei", also informally known as "Ma Ya Hi" and "The Numa Numa Song" (see § Lyrics), is the most successful single by the Moldovan pop group O-Zone. It received positive reviews from critics and shot to the number one spot on the Eurochart Hot 100, where it remained for 12 weeks between June and early September 2004. Kidnapping of Freddy Heineken

Freddy Heineken, chairman of the board of directors and CEO of the brewing company Heineken International and one of the richest people in the Netherlands, and his driver Ab Doderer, were kidnapped on 9 November 1983 in Amsterdam. They were released on a ransom of 35 million Dutch guilders on 30 November. The kidnappers Cor van Hout, Willem Holleeder, Jan Boellaard, Frans Meijer, and Martin Erkamps, were eventually caught and served prison terms.

Gerrit Kouwenaar Dutch writer and poet

Gerrit Kouwenaar was a Dutch journalist, translator, poet and prose writer. He was first published in 1941. He was a member of the Dutch poetry group known as the Vijftigers. Kouwenaar worked for magazines and newspapers such as Vrij Nederland, De Waarheid, and Het Vrije Volk. During the mid-1940s, he worked for the illegal newspaper Parade der Profeten. He was arrested for this and sentenced to half a year in jail. Kouwenaar was awarded the Martinus Nijhoff Prize in 1967 for his translation work. In 1970, he was given the P. C. Hooft Award. Kouwenaar later won the 1989 Dutch Literature Prize. In 2009, the Society of Dutch Literature named Kouwenaar the recipient of its annual honor. His last published work was released on 9 August 2008, Kouwenaar's eighty-fifth birthday.

<i>Hits for Kids</i> 2014 studio album by Jett Rebel

Hits for Kids is the second studio album by the Dutch singer songwriter Jett Rebel. The album was scheduled for release on October 31, 2014, through Sony Music Entertainment, but Rebel decided to publish it the day before on both Spotify and iTunes, on October 30, 2014. Hits for Kids spawned one single, "Pineapple Morning".

ChefSpecial Dutch band

Chef'Special is a Dutch indie pop band from Haarlem, Netherlands. Chef'Special's lineup consists of lead vocalist Joshua Nolet, guitarist Guido Joseph, bass player Jan Derks, keyboard player Wouter Heeren and drummer Wouter Jerry Prudon.
