Einstellung are a krautrock/shoegaze band from Birmingham, England.
Einstellung formed in 2004. In 2006, their debut album, Wings Of Desire, was released on CD on Chatterbox Records. At the same time, "Sleep Easy Mr Parker", a 28-minute, one-track CD single was released on Bearos. Both releases and their loud, heavy shows garnered them much attention (the unusually long, trance-inducing, krautrocker "Sleep Easy Mr Parker" appeared on the BBC website). [1]
In 2007, Einstellung presented 'Das Land Ohne Musik' a concert featuring acoustic versions of songs from their Wings of Desire album with strings and piano parts added by pianist and composer Rich Batsford. A live album of the concert was released in early 2018. Later in 2007, they participated in the Project X Presents event at the Rainbow Warehouse, Digbeth, including another collaboration with Rich Batsford which also featured Islamic vocal group Aashiq al-Rasul.
More recently[ when? ]Wings Of Desire was released on double-vinyl on Capsule Records and Einstellung now have their own label, Powerkrautrecords.
Einstellung's work has been likened to My Bloody Valentine ("Schwester" is probably the sort of thing people have been thinking of in the past when they’ve ventured similarities between Einstellung and My Bloody Valentine [2] Bardo Pond and Neu! [3] amongst others.
My Bloody Valentine are an Irish-English alternative rock band formed in Dublin in 1983 and consisting since 1987 of founding members Kevin Shields and Colm Ó Cíosóig, with Bilinda Butcher and Debbie Googe (bass). Loveless is the second studio album by the Irish-English rock band My Bloody Valentine. Models are an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria in August 1978. They went into hiatus in 1988, but re-formed in 2000, 2006 and 2008 to perform reunion concerts. The band began regularly performing again from 2010 onwards. "Out of Mind, Out of Sight", their only No. 1 hit, appeared on the Australian singles charts in July 1985. The related album, Out of Mind, Out of Sight, peaked at No. 3 on the Australian albums charts after its release in August. Out of Mind, Out of Sight appeared on the Billboard 200 albums chart, with the single, "Out of Mind, Out of Sight", peaking at No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. An earlier song from the same album, "Barbados", had peaked at No. 2 on the Australian singles chart.

Its innovative guitar and production techniques consolidated the experimentation of the band's preceding EPs and would make the album a pioneering work of the subgenre known as shoegazing. Glider is an EP by Irish-English rock band My Bloody Valentine, released in April 1990 by Creation Records. The EP was also the group's first release on the Sire Records label in the United States. Containing the lead single "Soon", which featured Kevin Shields' "glide guitar" technique, the EP peaked at number 2 on the UK Indie Chart, and the band toured in summer 1990 to support its release.
Ambulance LTD was an indie rock group formed in Spanish Harlem, New York City in 2000. The band was founded by Michael Di Liberto and David Longstreth from Cleveland OH. Marcus Congleton joined about a year later and continued on with their name and ideas with other members. They signed to TVT Records after getting positive reviews from their live shows and recorded their debut album LP on March 23, 2004 in the US and March 14, 2005 in the UK and went on to sell more than 100,000 copies worldwide.

The Pleasure of Your Company is the third studio album by Australian new wave rock band Models, which peaked at No. 12 on the Australian albums chart. It was released in October 1983 on Mushroom Records with Nick Launay producing. The album provided three singles, "I Hear Motion" released in September, which peaked at No. 16. Neither "No Shoulders, No Head" released in December, nor "God Bless America" released in April 1984, peaked into the Australian Top 50 singles chart. The video for "God Bless America", from March 1984, featured backing singers Kate Ceberano and Zan Abeyratne.
