The Screenplay was by Pandit Sudarshan, with dialogues by Munshi Abdul Baqui and Pandit Sudarshan. The music was composed by Ghulam Mohammed, with lyrics by Shakeel Badayuni. Nimmi's double role in the film as mother and daughter was acclaimed critically, while Ulhas won a nomination in the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor category.
Aadhe Adhoore is an Indian television series which aired on Zindagi from 14 December 2015 to 12 April 2016. The story revolved around Jassi who lives in rural Kapurthala in Punjab with a loving mother-in-law and her brother-in-law as her husband works abroad. The show touched on themes of unrequited love and adultery. Despite a complex storyline and well-received acting performances, the show was cancelled after viewers thought the show depicted a bad woman in Jassi.
Rabb Da Radio is a 2017 Indian Punjabi-language film directed by Tarnvir Singh Jagpal and Harry Bhatti, and written by Jass Grewal. It stars Tarsem Jassar, Mandy Takhar and Simi Chahal. The film was produced by Manpreet Johal and Vehli Janta Films, distributed by White Hill Studios. It marked the debut of Tarsem Jassar.
Jindua is a romantic drama film directed by Navaniat Singh starring Jimmy Sheirgill, Neeru Bajwa and Sargun Mehta in the lead roles. It was released on 17 March 2017.
