Eko Pearl Towers is a complex which consists of five residential towers in Eko Atlantic, Lagos State. [6] [7]

Design and Development

The Eko Pearl Towers comprises five residential skyscrapers, all ranging from 24 to 33 floors. The towers are Eko Black Pearl, Eko White Pearl, Champagne Pearl, Indigo Pearl and Aqua Pearl. The residential tower project was designed by the Architecture firm TAA (Tabet Atelier d Architecture), the Electrical/Mechanical consultants are DHD-MEP Design and Supervision and the structural engineering was conducted by several lebanese people. Construction Management was tasked to TAA construction and the Site Engineering consultants are APAVE Nigeria. The residential towers are being developed by ESLA International Limited, a subsidiary of Chagoury Group, [5] while the contractors are Eko Pearl Construction Company and South Energyx Nigeria Ltd. Each of the five towers comprises four apartments per floor, two apartments on the penthouse floors, a technical floor, terrace floor, a ground floor and a basement floor. The penthouse types, two and three bedroom apartments provide viewing access to the Lagos coastline. The five towers cover a total plot area of 22,738 m2. Altogether, the towers will provide approximately over 560 apartment units with views of the Atlantic Ocean, Victoria Island and Lagos Island. [4] The project commenced after the land reclamation for the first phase of Eko Atlantic in 2013. As of 2016, the Black pearl has been topped out, the Champagne Pearl was scheduled to be completed in 2017 and has been topped out. [8] whilst the other two towers are still underdevelopment. The project was initiated in 2013, with an estimated completion and opening date initially scheduled for 2016. However, the 2016 date could not be attained for all the towers during construction process of the project. The towers are accessed by Eko Boulevard, Nigeria’s first eight-lane city road [9]

Eko Black Pearl

The Black Pearl residential tower is a 24-floors apartment building. [10] The tower contains 84 apartments, which range in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms, with Duplex options, combined apartments and Terrace Penthouses. The Eko Black Pearl Tower which was topped out in 2016 and is close to the much taller Champagne Pearl which is a 33 floors residential tower with similar attributes to the Black Pearl. Both towers are situated behind two tennis courts, a swimming pool and other communal facilities. There are also parking available in all the towers at the ground level and basement levels. [6] [11]

Eko White Pearl

The White Pearl tower consists of 31 residential floors and benefits from the common garden terrace at the top of the podium and has a private health club and a meeting room and lounge at the garden floor level. The White Pearl Tower has a two level podium which has a lobby and garden terrace above. The ground floor level incorporates a private health club, meeting room and a luxurious lounge. 24 levels will be accessible by 6 Mitsubishi elevators. [3]

Eko Champagne Pearl

The Champagne Pearl tower consists of 30 residential floors; there are 4 apartments per floor, a technical floor, a ground floor and a basement floor. The Eko Champagne Pearl Tower which was topped out in 2017 is currently the tallest residential building in Nigeria. As of January 2021, it is the second Tallest building in Nigeria.

Eko Indigo Pearl

The Indigo Pearl tower consists of 33 residential floors.

Eko Aqua Pearl

The Aqua Pearl tower consists of 24 residential floors. [3] [upper-alpha 1]

Eureka Tower is a 297.3 m (975 ft) skyscraper located in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Construction began in August 2002 and the exterior was completed on 1 June 2006. The plaza was finished in June 2006 and the building was officially opened on 11 October 2006. Fenwick Tower is a residential apartment building in the south end of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. At 98 metres and 33 storeys in height, it is the tallest building in Atlantic Canada and the tallest building in Canada east of Quebec City.

The Marina Torch, also known as Dubai Torch, Dubai Torch Tower, and The Torch, is a residential skyscraper in Dubai Marina in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is 336.8 metres (1,105 ft) tall, with 79 floors above ground, and became the tallest residential building in the world on its completion in 2011, surpassing Q1 in Gold Coast, Australia. It lost the record in 2012 to Dubai's Elite Residence. The building was damaged by fire on 21 February 2015, on 4 August 2017, while it was undergoing restorative work, and again on 5 January 2019.

One Magnificent Mile

Aqua (skyscraper)

Aqua is an 82-story mixed-use residential skyscraper in the Lakeshore East development in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Designed by a team led by Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang Architects, with James Loewenberg of Loewenberg & Associates as the Architect of Record, it includes five levels of parking below ground. The building's eighty-story, 140,000 sq ft (13,000 m2) base is topped by a 82,550 sq ft (7,669 m2) terrace with gardens, gazebos, pools, hot tubs, a walking/running track and a fire pit. Each floor covers approximately 16,000 sq ft (1,500 m2).

International Plaza (Singapore)

The Pearl of the Orient Tower, previously known as Embassy Pointe Tower, is a residential skyscraper located in Manila, Philippines, owned by the Philippine Estates Corporation. Standing at 168 meters, it is one of the tallest buildings in the City of Manila. The building has 42 floors above ground, wherein 6 floors are for parking spaces, 5 floors for office and commercial purposes, 30 floors for luxury residential units, and 2 floors for penthouse units. Regency Tower

The Regency is a high-rise residential building located at 333 Northwest 5th Street, in the northwest section of Downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The tower stands at a height of 288 feet and it comprises 24 stories. Construction of the building began in 1964 and was completed in 1966, and subsequently opened in 1967.

FOCSA Building Residential building located in the Vedado neighborhood of Havana, Cuba

The FOCSA Building is a residential block in the Vedado neighborhood of Havana, Cuba. It was named after the contracting company Fomento de Obras y Construcciones, Sociedad Anónima, and the architects were Ernesto Gómez Sampera (1921–2004), Mercedes Diaz, and Martín Domínguez Esteban (1897-1970) who was the architect of the Radiocentro CMQ Building. The structural engineer was Luis Sáenz Duplace, of the firm Sáenz, Cancio & Martín, and professor of engineering at the University of Havana. The civil engineers were Bartolome Bestard and Manuel Padron. Gustavo Becquer and Fernando H.Meneses were the mechanical and electrical engineers respectively. It is located on a site bordered by Calles 17 and M and Calles 19 and N in the Vedado.

Eko Atlantic City in Lagos State, Nigeria

Eko Atlantic, officially Nigeria International Commerce city, also known as Eko Atlantic City, or the initials E.A.C. and E.A., is a planned city of Lagos State, Nigeria, being constructed on land reclaimed from the Atlantic Ocean. Upon completion, the new peninsula is anticipating at least 250,000 residents and a daily flow of 150,000 commuters. The development is also designed to help in stopping the erosion of Lagos city's coastline.

Prima Pearl

Prima Pearl is a residential skyscraper completed in 2014, in the Southbank precinct of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The skyscraper is the sixth–tallest building in Melbourne and the ninth–tallest building in Australia.

World Trade Centre Abuja

The World Trade Centre is a complex of eight buildings under construction in the Central Business District of Abuja, FCT in Nigeria. There are seven skyscrapers planned for the site, two of which have already been topped out, with the others either under construction or at various stages of development. At 110 m (361 ft), the 24-floor WTC Tower 1, which topped out in 2015 is the tallest residential building in Nigeria, while WTC Tower 2 is the tallest building in Abuja, standing at 120 m (394 ft). Initially scheduled to be opened in 2013, the World Trade Centre Abuja is now scheduled to open in 2016.
