"El Desprecio" (English: "The Contempt") is a song by American music group Aventura. It is the eleventh track from their fifth studio album The Last (2009). The song was featured as a soundtrack for Grand Theft Auto IV's second expansion episode pack, The Ballad of Gay Tony.

Aventura was an American bachata group formed in The Bronx, New York. With the lineup always consisting of the members Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max Santos, they are regarded as one of the most influential Latin groups of all time. All of the members are of Dominican descent, although Romeo is also half Puerto Rican on his mother's side. They were the first major bachata act to have originated in the United States instead of the Dominican Republic. The group was integral to the evolution of bachata music and are the pioneers of the modern bachata sound. Aventura released five studio albums in a decade, creating many top 10 hits like "Cuándo volverás", "Un Beso", "Mi Corazoncito", "Los Infieles", "El Perdedor", "Por un Segundo", "Dile al Amor", among others. They have sold out many arenas including the world famous Madison Square Garden. Aventura has been nominated for awards such as American Music Awards, the Latin Grammy Awards, Billboard Latin Music Awards, and Premio Lo Nuestro. Aventura is one of the most internationally recognized Latin groups of the last two decades and frequently refer to themselves as "K.O.B.", or "Kings of Bachata".
Antônio Alves Pinto is a Brazilian film score composer. He is the son of the famous cartoonist Ziraldo and the brother of the film-maker Daniela Thomas. His work earned him a World Soundtrack Award and an ASCAP award, as well as a nomination in the Best Original Song category at the 65th Golden Globe Awards for writing the song "Despedida" with Shakira. He composed the soundtrack to The Mosquito Coast and played the key instruments.

It was composed by Tito and Joan Ortiz and released on February 9, 2009, as the second single from his third studio album, El Patrón (2009). All Up 2 You is the second single by Aventura from their album The Last. The song features Akon and Wisin & Yandel. On April 23, they performed the song at the 2009 Latin Billboard Music Awards. Aventura member Romeo uses the auto-tune effect in his vocals. A merengue remix was made for the song. The song was also included on Wisin & Yandel's re-release album La Revolución: Evolution, and for the Mexican and Brazilian edition there is a remix featuring dancehall artist Adrian Banton. In Premios Lo Nuestro 2010, the song was nominated for Urban Song of the Year, losing to Tito el Bambino's "El Amor" and Collaboration of the Year losing to Luis Fonsi's "Aquí Estoy Yo". In 2011, Aventura released a greatest hits album exclusively for Spain in which included a remix version of the song in the same genre as a bonus track. This version did not include Akon and it was renamed "Vete".

Known in the industry as "Keyz", Altino produced numerous records for a wide range of artists such as "Hold On" for Darius Rucker of Hootie & the Blowfish, and "OUT OF MY HEAD" by Lupe Fiasco Featuring Trey Songz. He collaborated with Parisian artists such as Passi and Jocelyne Labylle on several records while adding to his roster of artists, Mary J. Blige, Justin Bieber, Estelle, and P. Diddy. Altino co-produces now with Jerry Wonda out of Platinum Sounds Recording Studio in New York City.

"La Vida" is a song by Dominican singer Henry Santos featuring Urban Music artist Maffio. It served as the third single for Santos's second album My Way (2013). The music video was released on May 2, 2014.
