Archery World Cup

The Archery World Cup is a competition, started in 2006, organized by the World Archery Federation, where the archers compete in four stages in four countries and the best eight archers of each category advance to an additional stage to contest the Archery World Cup Final. Jorge Jiménez, is an athlete from El Salvador who competes in compound archery. He won the Archery World Cup in 2007, and achieved number one ranking status in the same year.

María Carmen Rubio Larrion is an archer from Spain. She has represented Spain in archery at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London, and at the World Championships, where she finished sixth in the women's individual compound event in 2013. She has also represented Spain at European Championships.

Guillermo Javier Rodríguez González is an adaptive archer from Spain. He won a gold medal at the Spanish Archery Championship for Physically Handicapped in 2010. Gonzalez represented Spain at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, and the 2013 IPC World Championships. He shoots both the recurve and compound bows. He finished just out of the medals at the London Paralympics.

The 2006 Archery World Cup was the first edition of the Archery World Cup, designed to highlight archery in some of the world's "most spectacular" locations following the success of the 2003 World Archery Championships in New York City and the 2004 Summer Olympics. The first leg was held in Porec, Croatia, the second leg on at Antalya Centennial Archery Field in Antalya, Turkey, the third leg on in San Salvador, El Salvador and the final leg was held in Shanghai.

2014 Archery World Cup

The 2014 Archery World Cup was the ninth edition of the annual Archery World Cup, organised by the World Archery Federation. The locations for the 4 preliminary stages were the same as in 2013, with the first leg in Shanghai, China from 22–27 April, the second leg on 13–18 May in Medellin, Colombia, the third leg on 10–15 June in Antalya, Turkey, and the final leg on August 5–10 in Wroclaw, Poland. The finals were held in Lausanne on 6–7 September.

El Salvador competed in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from July 10 to 26, 2015.

Archery competitions at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto was held from July 14 to 18 at Varsity Stadium. Just like in the Olympics, the archery competition was conducted using the recurve bow. A total of four archery events were held: two each for men and women.

Archery competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru are scheduled to be held between August 7 and 11, 2019 at the Archery field in the Villa María del Triunfo cluster.

Archery at the 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa was held on 8–12 July 2019. The tournament was played on the outdoor target archery range at the Faleata Sports Complex in Tuanaimato, and included both recurve and compound bow events. Medals were awarded in men's and women's individual contests as well as for mixed team competitions.

Anton Bulaev is a Russian archer competing in men's compound events. In 2019, he won, alongside Natalia Avdeeva, the gold medal in the mixed team compound event at the 2019 European Games held in Minsk, Belarus.

Süleyman Araz is a Turkish archer competing in men's compound events. He won the silver medal in the men's team compound event at the 2019 World Archery Championships held in 's-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands.

Roberto Alexander Hernández is a Salvadoran archer competing in men's compound events. In 2019, he won the gold medal in the men's individual compound event at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. As a result, he became the first man from El Salvador to win gold at the Pan American Games. He was the flag bearer during the Parade of Nations at the 2019 Pan American Games opening ceremony.

Kim Yun-hee is a South Korean archer competing in women's compound events. In 2019, she won, alongside So Chae-won, the gold medal in the women's team compound event at the 2019 Summer Universiade held in Naples, Italy. She also won the gold medal in this event at the 2017 Summer Universiade held in Taipei, Taiwan.
