The New Zealand national cricket team represents New Zealand in men's international cricket. Named the Black Caps,they played their first Test in 1930 against England in Christchurch,becoming the fifth country to play Test cricket. From 1930 New Zealand had to wait until 1956,more than 26 years,for its first Test victory,against the West Indies at Eden Park in Auckland. They played their first ODI in the 1972–73 season against Pakistan in Christchurch.

Her international career spanned from 1979 to 2000,and she played domestic cricket for Canterbury and North Shore.

On 13 June 2018,Kerr made the highest individual score in a WODI match,and became the youngest cricketer,male or female,to score a double century in One Day International cricket,when she scored 232 not out against Ireland. The double century was also the third-highest individual score,male or female,in an ODI,second-highest by a New Zealander and highest in a Women's ODI. Later in the same match,she also took 5 wickets for 17 runs,her first five-wicket haul in WODIs.
Elaine Mary Hannah Nolan is a former Irish international cricketer who debuted for the Ireland national side in 2006. A right-arm medium pacer,she played four One Day International matches.
The New Zealand women's national cricket team toured Australia in January and February 1972. They played against Australia in one Test match,which they won by 143 runs. The tour preceded New Zealand's tour of South Africa.
