Similar to how fellow X-League member Nojima Sagamihara Rise's visual identity is inspired by that of the NFL's Denver Broncos, Elecom Kobe Finies' visual identity is inspired in turn by the Dallas Cowboys - primarily in respect to its colors, logo and helmets, while the layout of the Finies' game jerseys is similar to that of the Seattle Seahawks.[ citation needed ]

The X-League is the top-level Professional Gridiron football league in Japan. It was founded in 1971 as the Japan American Football League, and changed its name to the X League in 1997. There are four divisions among which there is promotion and relegation. Teams are split into different divisions or blocks, depending on the tier. There are two types of teams, one being a company team in which only employees of that particular sponsoring company may play, and the other being a club team for which anyone can try out.

Jordan Canzeri is an American football running back who is currently a free agent. He played college football for the University of Iowa Hawkeyes football team from 2011 to 2015. He rushed for a career-high 256 yards on a school-record 43 carries against Illinois on October 10, 2015. He helped lead the 2015 Iowa Hawkeyes football team to an undefeated 12–0 record during the regular season, as he rushed for 976 yards during the season. He was selected by both the coaches and media as a third-team player on the 2015 All-Big Ten Conference football team. He played for the Elecom Kobe Finies of the X-League from 2016 to 2017. Wrestle Kingdom 13 in Tokyo Dome was a professional wrestling event produced by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event took place on January 4, 2019 at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan. It was the twenty-eighth January 4 Tokyo Dome Show and the thirteenth promoted under the Wrestle Kingdom name. The event was streamed live on NJPW World and FITE TV and was aired on tape delay on AXS TV. The WE League (WEリーグ), officially the Japan Women's Empowerment Professional Football League, also known as the Yogibo WE League for sponsorship reasons, is the top flight of women's association football in Japan, starting from the 2021–22 season. It is the first fully-professional women's soccer league in Japan.
