Election Constituency Strategic Road (ECS Road) is a strategic road in Nepal that is identified by Member of Parliament in each parliamentary constituencies of Nepal. There are 165 Constituencies in Nepal so there are 165 ECS roads identified. [1] The then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli laid the foundation stone of the two-lane strategic road for all 165 constituencies at a formal program in Baluwatar on April 3, 2021 [2] [3]
These ECR road connects each constitutional area with the National Highway passing nearby.

There are three types of elections in Nepal: elections to the federal parliament, elections to the provincial assemblies and elections to the local government. Within each of these categories, there may be by-elections as well as general elections. Currently three electoral systems are used: parallel voting for the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies, single transferable vote for the National Assembly, and first-past-the-post for local elections.
The House of Representatives, commonly known as Pratinidhi Sabha, is one of the houses of the Federal Parliament of Nepal, with the other house being the National Assembly. Members of the House of Representatives are elected through a parallel voting system. They hold their seats for five years or until the body is dissolved by the President on the advice of the council of ministers. The house meets at the International Convention Centre in Kathmandu.
Khotang District is one of 14 districts of Koshi Province of eastern Nepal. The district, with Diktel as its district headquarters, covers an area of 1,591 km2 (614 sq mi) and has a population (2021) of 206,312. Tokha is a municipality in Kathmandu District in Bagmati Province of Nepal that was established on 2 December 2014 by merging the former Village development committees Dhapasi, Jhor Mahankal, Gongabu, Tokha Chandeshwari and Tokha Saraswati on 2 December 2014. Kalyanpur–Gaighat Road is a national priority road in Nepal located between Koshi Province and Madhesh Province. The road connects Khadak Municipality in Saptari District to Triyuga Municipality in Udayapur District. The total length of the highway is 18 kilometres (11 mi) and the maximum elevation of the road is 117 metres (384 ft).
