Elexorien was a power/viking metal band from Groningen, Netherlands.
Elexorien played a mixture of power and viking metal with growls and classically trained female vocals, also taking influences from folk, black and death metal. The term "Epic Battle metal" is how the band defined their own sound. [1]
Founded in 2004 by Lainedil (guitarist, growls), Grimbert (keyboard), Liza (bass) and Joris (drums), they first went under the name Tearful Dawn. They then changed their name to Elexorien, which is taken from one of Kit Rae's fantasy blades from the Swords of the Ancients.
In 2005 they were joined by vocalist Iné and guitarist Wolve. With these additions they finished up their line-up and went to play concerts in Netherlands, supporting bands like Ensiferum, Suffocation and Korpiklaani. [2] In May 2005, they recorded and released their promo Rising of the Storm, which was then followed by their full-length self-titled debut album, released on April 13, 2007. [3]
At the start of the year the band announced they would part ways with drummer Joris. Joris left to focus on different musical styles. He stayed with the band for several gigs after that so they would have enough time to find a replacement. [4] In July they found that replacement in Merlijn Poolman. [5]
In November 2008, the band announced they would enter the studio again to record an EP called For Those Who Remain. This EP included an unreleased track that would also be featured on their upcoming album. [6] On December 21, 2008 the Hard as Iron DVD was released by their label Trollzorn.
In January the band announced they added their newly recorded song "For Those Who Remain" to their Myspace page, [7] and that they had an upcoming tour scheduled for late 2009 in South America together with God Dethroned. [8]
In September 2009, Iné stepped down as vocalist of Elexorien. [9]
On February 8, 2010, Elexorien announced they had found a new singer. [10]
On May 20, 2011 it was announced on their official site that Elexorien had split up. [11]

Dan-Erland Swanö, also known as Dan "The Man" Swanö, is a Swedish musician and record producer who is currently the vocalist, guitarist, ex-bassist and ex-drummer for the band Nightingale, lately vocalist, keyboardist and drummer for the band Witherscape, as well as the owner of Unisound, but he achieved fame as the vocalist and songwriter of progressive death metal band Edge of Sanity.
Adema is an American rock band from Bakersfield, California. The band formed in 2000 with members vocalist Mark Chavez, guitarist Tim Fluckey, guitarist Mike Ransom, bassist Dave DeRoo, and drummer Kris Kohls. After their first two albums, Adema, and Unstable, the band was plagued with years of conflict and lineup changes. Ransom left the band in 2003 followed by Chavez later in 2004 due to conflicts between themselves and other members of the band. Luke Caraccioli replaced Chavez in early 2005 for one album, Planets, but then left a few months later in late 2005. Vocalist Bobby Reeves and guitarist Ed Faris, both from the band Level, were recruited to join as well, but only released one album, Kill the Headlights in 2007, before entering a hiatus. The band's original lineup reformed in late 2009 and toured, but both Ransom and Chavez left again before any new music would be recorded. Fluckey took over lead vocals from 2011 to 2017. The lineup released an EP, Topple the Giants. In 2013 Ransom returned once again; Chavez rejoined the band again in March 2017, only to leave again in 2019. He was replaced by Ryan Shuck.
Omnium Gatherum is a six-piece melodic death metal band from Finland, founded in the autumn of 1996. Although the band mainly follows the path of the melodic death metal genre, much of their work shows strong influences from progressive metal, especially their later albums. Their music is influenced by Gothenburg-style bands such as At the Gates, In Flames, Dissection, Dark Tranquillity, but also Iron Maiden, Death, Anathema and Megadeth among others.

The project is the brainchild of the producer and multi-instrumentalist Ettore Rigotti and is mainly known for featuring Soilwork's vocalist Björn "Speed" Strid as guest vocalist on several albums. Salt the Wound was an American deathcore band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 2001. The band is signed to Rotten Records and have released three full-length studio albums. After the release of their debut album, Carnal Repercussions the band would continuously tour to an overwhelming extent, which led to their disbandment during the first half of 2010. With later negotiations, the group reformed in 2011 with original as well as new members releasing their next full-length studio album Kill the Crown.
Sea of Treachery is an American metalcore/deathcore band from Hebron, Kentucky, United States, formed in 2004. Since forming, they have released three EPs and two full-length studio albums, the first being At Daggers Drawn, which was released on April 29, 2008 on Sumerian Records, and the second being Wonderland, released on December 14, 2010 on Blkheart Group. The digital version of Wonderland, featuring a bonus track, was released January 4, 2011. Inspired by bands like Death, Cannibal Corpse, and Deicide, Blood Red Throne play death metal in a Scandinavian style, mixing old school, traditional and Swedish death with groovy riffs and elements of black metal.
