Elijah Galbraith-Knapp (born October 12, 1991) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender. Gailbraith-Knapp is currently a volunteer assistant coach for the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men's soccer team and the youth technical director for Fort Wayne United SC.
Galbraith-Knapp played college soccer at the University of San Diego between 2010 and 2013. [1]
Galbraith-Knapp also appeared for USL PDL club FC Tucson between 2012 and 2014. [2] [3] [4]
Galbraith-Knapp signed with United Soccer League club Tulsa Roughnecks in February 2015. [5]
Galbraith-Knapp joined the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons staff as a volunteer assistant in July 2022. [6]
The Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, formerly known as the IPFW Mastodons and Fort Wayne Mastodons, are the intercollegiate athletic teams that represent Purdue University Fort Wayne (PFW). The school's athletic program includes 16 varsity sports teams. Their mascot is a Mastodon named Don, and the school colors are black and gold. The Mastodons, led by third-year head coach Jon Coffman, played their home games at the Gates Sports Center and the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum as members of The Summit League. They finished the season 20–13, 8–8 in Summit League play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place. They defeated the number 3 ranked Indians Hoosiers 71-68 in overtime. They lost in the quarterfinals of the Summit League tournament to Omaha. They were invited to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament where they defeated Ball State in the first round and received a second round bye before losing in the quarterfinals to Texas A&M–Corpus Christi.
