Eligible Bachelors is the third studio album by English band The Monochrome Set. It was released in 1982, through record label Cherry Red.
Eligible Bachelors was produced by former Steeleye Span member Tim Hart. It was The Monochrome Set's first album since the departure of original drummer John Haney.
The original LP had a faux white leather sleeve designed by Tom Hardy, better known as guitarist Lester Square. The back cover's liner notes featured raves about the band from various critics from around the world, including London, New York, San Francisco, Japan and Kansas.

AllMusic called it "one of the classic undiscovered albums of the early '80s, Eligible Bachelors is a tour de force of wit and musical imagination" and "an age-defining record". [1] Trouser Press praised the band's "witty intelligence" and said that the album "strips the music down to essential elements". [2]

Yes is the debut studio album by English rock band Yes, released on 25 July 1969 by Atlantic Records. After forming in the summer of 1968, the band toured extensively across the United Kingdom with sets comprising both original material and rearranged cover versions. They signed with Atlantic in March 1969, and entered Advision and Trident Studios in London to record their first album. Feline is the seventh studio album by the Stranglers and was released on 22 January 1983 on the Epic record label, their first for the label. The first edition came with a free one-sided 7" single "Aural Sculpture Manifesto". Feline drew heavily on two of the dominant musical influences in Europe of the time, by using primarily acoustic guitars and electronic drums as well as Dave Greenfield's synthesizers. Lester Square is the former lead guitarist for The Monochrome Set. He joined the first incarnation of Adam and the Ants as lead guitarist, after meeting Adam while studying at Hornsey College of Art, writing Ants staples "Fall In" and "Fat Fun" during this period. He left in 1978 to form The Monochrome Set with singer-songwriter Bid, a band cited as "a major influence on the Smiths, Franz Ferdinand, Orange Juice, Fire Engines and a whole host of UK indie and post punk bands." He has also briefly played guitar with The Invisible (1985–1987), ...And the Native Hipsters, and Jesus Couldn't Drum.
