Eline McGeorge (born 1970) is a Norwegian artist who lives and works in London and Oslo, Norway. She has exhibited extensively in Norway and internationally. [1]

Biography

McGeorge was born 1970. She received her Master of Fine Arts in 2000 from Goldsmiths, University of London in London, England. [2] McGeorge takes use of drawing, animation, collage, artist books and weaving. Her work spans abstraction, concrete references and documentary with democratic problems, environmental issues, feminist legacy and science fiction as core thematic focuses. [3]

McGeorge's work is included in the permanent collection of the Limerick City Gallery of Art [10] [11] and the Zabludowicz Collection. [12] She is also in the permanent collection of the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art. [13]

Aase Gulbrandsen Norwegian painter and graphic artist

Aase Gulbrandsen was a Norwegian painter and graphic artist. She employed a variety of techniques, including charcoal, graphite pencils, oil paint, pastels, and lithography. Her breakthrough came during a solo exhibition at Oslo Kunstforening in 1974, showing charcoal art that was quite unlike anything seen before. In the course of her career, she held more than twenty solo exhibitions, in addition to participating in a number of group exhibitions in Norway and abroad. Her graphite work had a formative influence on the art of drawing in Norway. She was also a distinct colorist, not least because of the signature red of her oil paintings and pastels.

Hesselholdt & Mejlvang

Sofie Hesselholdt and Vibeke Mejlvang are a collaborative duo of visual artists who live and work in Copenhagen. They started collaborating in late 1999 and work with performance art and site-specific installations in public spaces addressing social and political topics such as National Identity and Eurocentrism.

Cecilie Dahl (born 1858) Norwegian painter and author

Cecilie Dahl (1858–1943) was a Norwegian artist who painted portraits, genre paintings and landscapes. From the early 1880s, she exhibited at the Oslo Kunstforening and in 1888 presented a work inspired by Henrik Ibsen's Brand at the Nordic Exhibition in Copenhagen. Her best works are those of women and children from the mid-1890s, characterized by a soft, rather melancholy atmosphere. She was inspired by evening scenes, as in Augustkveld, Hakadal in the collection of the Norwegian National Gallery.
