Elisa Robati is a former netball player who played on six occasions for the New Zealand national netball team. She presently coaches netball in Queensland, Australia.

Netball career

Elisa Robati (née Taringa) was born on 21 July 1973. She played for the Bay of Plenty. Playing as a Goal shooter (GS) and Goal attack (GA), she was selected for the Young Internationals of New Zealand and then for the Under-21 team. In 1994, she was chosen for the national team, known as the Silver Ferns, playing her first game on 1 March 1995 against South Africa. In 1995 she was a member of the Silver Ferns team in the 1995 World Netball Championships, held in Birmingham, England, when New Zealand finished third. After 1995 her career as a player came to an end as a result of injury. [1]

Robati moved to Queensland in Australia and coached club teams and schools. Since 2012 she has been Head netball coach at the Trinity Anglican School in Cairns. She has coached the Peninsula (North Queensland) Under-19s team in the Queensland School Sports State Championships. She is also the coach of the North Cairns Tigers. [2] [3] [4] [5]

She is the most capped player in the history of the Silver Ferns, having overtaken Irene van Dyk's record of 145 test matches in October 2018.

Julie Seymour is a New Zealand netball coach, former international netball player and former representative middle distance runner. Seymour played for the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, in 92 test matches spanning 16 years. During her international career she has competed at three Netball World Championships and two Commonwealth Games. She also captained the Silver Ferns in 2002 and again during the last two years of her international career. After two years in the ANZ Championship, Seymour announced her retirement from competitive netball in 2009. She subsequently took on a coaching role at the Canterbury Tactix as assistant coach.

Debbie Fuller is a New Zealand netball coach and former international netball player. Fuller was a defender in the New Zealand national netball team, the Silver Ferns, from 1993 to 1996, during which time she competed at the 1995 Netball World Championships in Birmingham. Fuller retired from the Silver Ferns after 1996, spending a year in Argentina. She returned for the 1997 provincial season, and the following year captained Canterbury in the inaugural National Bank Cup. Fuller moved to the Capital Shakers in 1999, playing with the Wellington-based side until her retirement in 2002.

Kayla Malvina Johnson is a New Zealand netball player. As a high school student, Cullen played representative netball and basketball, and competed at a national level in athletics. In 2008, she was selected in the New Zealand U21 netball team, and was a member of the side that finished second at the 2009 World Youth Netball Championships, behind Australia.

Ameliaranne Ekenasio, previously known as Ameliaranne Wells, is a New Zealand netball international. In 2010 and 2011, Wells represented Australia at under-19 and under-21 levels. In 2014 she switched allegiances to New Zealand. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and was a prominent member of the New Zealand team that won the 2019 Netball World Cup. She captained New Zealand when they won the 2021 Constellation Cup.

Kelly Jury is a New Zealand netball international. She represented New Zealand at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games. During the ANZ Championship era Jury played for Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic. Since 2020, she has played for Central Pulse in the ANZ Premiership. Jury was a prominent member of the Pulse teams that won the 2020 and 2022 ANZ Premierships. Alongside Tiana Metuarau, she was co-captain of the 2022 Pulse team. She was the 2022 ANZ Premiership Player of the Year and shared the 2022 Dame Lois Muir Supreme Award with Grace Nweke.
