Elite Plaza Business Center, [1] also referred to as the Khorenatsi 15, [2] is a business center in the financial center of Armenia's capital Yerevan opened in February 2013. [3] It is the tallest building in Armenia. With its 18 floors and 21,700 sq.m. of office space Elite Plaza is the largest business center in Armenia. [4]
The building was constructed by Elite Group, completed in January 2013 and opened on 16 February 2013. [5] International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, joined forces with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to facilitate development of business infrastructure and create employment in Armenia by supporting construction of Elite Plaza, the first high-class multipurpose office building in Yerevan. [6] IFC and EBRD provided loans of $5.4 million and $3.6 million, respectively, to Elite Group, a leading property development company with operations in Armenia and Georgia, to build an 18-storey building that will accommodate office, retail, conference, and exhibition areas to meet the growing demand for high-quality office space in Armenia. In 2016 journalist Liana Aghajanian described Elite Plaza in the following terms: "Its gaudy green finish and overbearing, odd shape, however, make it symbolic of rapid architectural changes the city is going through, losing its historical buildings to a flashy attempt at a contemporary “elite” style." [8]
Gregory the Illuminator was the founder and first official head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. He converted Armenia from Zoroastrianism to Christianity in the early fourth century, making Armenia the first state to adopt Christianity as its official religion. Republic Square is the central town square in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It consists of two sections: an oval roundabout and a trapezoid-shaped section which contains a pool with musical fountains. The square is surrounded by five major buildings built in pink and yellow tuff in the neoclassical style with extensive use of Armenian motifs. This architectural ensemble includes the Government House, the History Museum and the National Gallery, Armenia Marriott Hotel and two buildings that formerly housed the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Transport and Communications. The square was originally designed by Alexander Tamanian in 1924. The construction of most of the buildings was completed by the 1950s; the last building—the National Gallery—was completed in 1977.

The Garni Temple is the only standing Greco-Roman colonnaded building in Armenia. Built in the Ionic order, it is located in the village of Garni, in central Armenia, around 30 km (19 mi) east of Yerevan. It is the best-known structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia. It has been described as the "easternmost building of the Graeco-Roman world" and the only extant Greco-Roman temple in the former Soviet Union.

He is a founding member of the ruling Civil Contract Party. He was the Civil Contract Party's mayoral candidate for the Yerevan City Council election which took place on 17 September 2023. Avinyan was elected as Mayor of Yerevan on 10 October 2023.
Arman Nur is an Armenian designer, jeweler, sculptor, and painter. In 2012, Nur was awarded the Armenian Ministry of Culture's Gold Medal, and in 2013, he got the President of Armenia's Movses Khorenatsi medal.

The 2020−2021 Armenian protests were a series of protests that began following the Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement on 10 November 2020. After Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that he signed an agreement to cede Armenian-occupied territories in Azerbaijan and put an end to six weeks of hostilities over the Nagorno-Karabakh region, thousands of people took to the streets, and hundreds stormed the Parliament building in the capital Yerevan. Protests continued throughout November, with demonstrations in Yerevan and other cities demanding the resignation of Nikol Pashinyan.

He is the founder and director of the company “Jermuk Group” CJSC and served as a deputy of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia during the 4th and 6th legislatures. Additionally, he served as mayor of the city of Jermuk from 1996 to 2002.
