Else Guurtje Praasterink (10 March 2003) is a Dutch diver. She placed 11th at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships in the 10 metre platform event and finished 12th at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Career

Praasterink wanted to become a competitive swimmer but because of her small size she was guided to become a diver from the 10 metre platform. [1] As a junior she was based in Eindhoven. She placed 8th at the 2019 Junior European Championships.

Praasterink enrolled at the University of Louisville to study biology and join the diving team of the Louisville Cardinals. [2] In her senior year, she placed 4th at the 2024 NCAA Division 1 finals. [3]

At the 2022 World Aquatics Championship, Praasterink reached 11th in the 10-metre platform finals. Two years later she achieved the same spot, which qualified her for the 2024 Summer Olympics. [4] At the Olympics, Praasterink reached the final and placed 12th.

In the fall of 2024, Praasterink joined the Swimming Team at Texas A&M Aggies while pursuing a Master´s degree in rangeland, wildlife and fisheries management. [5] [6]

She won silver in mixed 10m platform synchro at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships with Matty Lee, and gold in the women's synchronized 10 metre platform at the 2018 European Aquatics Championships with Eden Cheng.

Eden Cheng is an English elite diver representing Great Britain and England. She won her first major medal in 2018 at the age of 15, when she won the gold medal at the European Championships in the 10 metre platform synchro with Lois Toulson.

Noah Oliver Williams is an English elite competitive diver who represents Great Britain and England and specialises in the 10 metre platform and synchro platform events. Williams took the bronze medal in the 10 metre platform at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the third British diver to do so in that event. In the 10 metre synchronised event at the same Games, Williams won silver with partner Tom Daley.

Deborah Wilson is an American diver. Wilson originally competed in springboard diving before moving on to platform diving. As a platform diver, she was first at the 1973 Amateur Athletic Union national diving championships. She participated in the 1973 World Aquatics Championships and 1975 World Aquatics Championships but did not medal in either championship. In international competitions, Wilson won a bronze medal in the women's 10 metre platform event at the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Shen-Yan Freida Lim is a Singaporean diver. She qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the 10 metre platform by placing 15th at the semi-finals of the 2021 FINA Diving World Cup in the 10 metre platform event. This made her the first female Singaporean diver to qualify for the Olympics and the second ever Singaporean diver to qualify for the Olympics, following Jonathan Chan.

Aidan Heslop is a British diver and high diver who competes internationally representing Wales and Great Britain. In 2024 he won gold in the men's high dive at the 2024 World Aquatics Championships.

Kyle Kothari is an English diver representing Great Britain and England in competition. At the 2022 Commonwealth Games, he won a silver medal in the 10 metre mixed synchronised platform, and placed fourth in the 10 metre synchronised platform. He is a 2022 European champion in the 10 metre mixed synchronised platform and the 10 metre synchronised platform. Kyle competed at the Paris 2024 Olympics in the 10 metre platform.

Ginni van Katwijk is a Dutch high diver.
