Since 2013, Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month is a regular Today Show feature fronted by American radio broadcaster Elvis Duran in which he chooses an upcoming solo singer, and at times duos and groups, to spotlight them each month as "Artist(s) of the Month". In certain months, two different artists may be featured during the same month.
Duran has his own segment on the 4th hour of NBC's Today show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb where Duran presents his selected artists, and after a brief interview with the show's hosts, the selected artists sing a recent song of their own for national public audience in the US. Past artists who have appeared on the segment include American bands like A Great Big World, American Authors, Juice, Los 5, MAGIC GIANT, Midnight Red, Ocean Park Standoff, The Revivalists, Saving Forever, the duos Alexander Jean, Jack & Jack, Lion Babe and Secret Weapons, independent and emerging American artists like Madilyn Bailey, Jon Bellion, Cris Cab, Sabrina Carpenter, Greyson Chance, Jessie Chris, Rachel Crow, Rozzi Crane, Daya, Mikky Ekko, Roy English, Emily Estefan, Ferras, Jordan Fisher, Gallant, Todrick Hall, Olivia Holt, Parson James, Lauren Jenkins, Tori Kelly, Austin Mahone, Kirstin Maldonado, Laura Marano, MAX, Bea Miller, Jake Miller, Spencer Sutherland, VÉRITÉ, Tyler Ward, Elle Winter and Zendaya and more. Although a big majority of the featured artists are American, Duran makes a point of introducing some non-Americans acts as well giving them big exposure in the American markets. Such international artists include Grace, Vance Joy, Conrad Sewell and The Griswolds (Australia), Alessia Cara and Shawn Hook (Canada), Isac Elliot (Finland), AudioDamn! (Germany), Nikki Williams (South Africa), Arlissa, Låpsley, Katy Tiz, Labrinth, Damian McGinty, Aston Merrygold, Tom Walker and the bands MiC LOWRY, New Hope Club (UK) and others.

Duran Duran are an English new wave band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The group was a leading band in the MTV-driven Second British Invasion of the US in the 1980s. The group was formed by keyboardist Nick Rhodes and bassist John Taylor, with the later addition of drummer Roger Taylor, and after numerous personnel changes, guitarist Andy Taylor and lead singer Simon Le Bon. These five members featured the most commercially successful line-up.
Rockabilly is one of the earliest styles of rock and roll music. It dates back to the early 1950s in the United States, especially the South. As a genre it blends the sound of Western musical styles such as country with that of rhythm and blues, leading to what is considered "classic" rock and roll. Some have also described it as a blend of bluegrass with rock and roll. The term "rockabilly" itself is a portmanteau of "rock" and "hillbilly", the latter a reference to the country music that contributed strongly to the style. Other important influences on rockabilly include western swing, boogie-woogie, jump blues, and electric blues.

A tribute act, tribute band or tribute group is a music group, singer, or musician who specifically plays the music of a well-known music act. Tribute acts include individual performers who mimic the songs and style of an artist, such as Elvis impersonators covering the works of Elvis Presley or groups like The Iron Maidens, an all-female band that pays tribute to Iron Maiden.
Sugarland is an American country music duo founded in Atlanta, Georgia, consisting of singer-songwriters Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. The group was founded in 2002 by Nettles and Bush with Kristen Hall. Hall left the group after its first album. All three members had experience in folk rock: Nettles had recorded in the groups Soul Miner's Daughter and Jennifer Nettles Band, Bush had recorded two albums as one-half of the duo Billy Pilgrim, and Hall had recorded two solo albums.

Sun Studio is a recording studio opened by rock-and-roll pioneer Sam Phillips at 706 Union Avenue in Memphis, Tennessee, on January 3, 1950. It was originally called Memphis Recording Service, sharing the same building with the Sun Records label business. Reputedly the first rock and roll single, Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats' "Rocket 88" was recorded there in 1951 with song composer Ike Turner on keyboards, leading the studio to claim status as the birthplace of rock & roll. Blues and R&B artists like Howlin' Wolf, Junior Parker, Little Milton, B.B. King, James Cotton, Rufus Thomas, and Rosco Gordon recorded there in the early 1950s.
Tim Reynolds is an American guitarist and multi-instrumentalist known as both a solo artist and as a lead guitarist for the Dave Matthews Band. AllMusic critic MacKenzie Wilson has called Reynolds "an under-rated master".

Yo Gabba Gabba! is an American live-action/puppet educational, musical children's television series starring five costumed toys come-to-life and their friend DJ Lance Rock. Its first episode premiered on Nickelodeon on August 20, 2007, as a part of its Nick Jr. Block. The aforementioned premiere was simulcast on Noggin. The series finale originally aired on November 12, 2015. A single topic is addressed in each episode through songs and short storylines in the half-hour program. Additionally, the show teaches children life and social skills, such as sharing and trying different foods. It also encourages viewers to move along with and dance with the characters in the program. The show is noted for its indie-culture guest stars and bands, and for drawing visual inspiration from 8-bit video games and H.R. Pufnstuf, among other television shows. Created by Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz, the show's learning process has parents, older siblings, and younger children watch the show together rather than letting it act as a babysitter. The television program has spawned a touring live stage show, several toys, and branded clothing. Jack & Jack are an American pop-rap duo from Omaha, Nebraska, consisting of Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky, based in Los Angeles, California. After success via the social media app Vine, the duo turned to careers as musicians. Their 2014 single "Wild Life" peaked at number 87 on the US Billboard Hot 100. They also featured on Jonas Blue's 2018 hit single "Rise", which peaked at number three in the UK Singles Chart in addition to charting within the top 20 of various other European countries and Australia. Both attended Omaha Westside High School.

Parson James is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for his single "Stole the Show", a collaboration with Norwegian producer Kygo. The song became a hit in a number of countries as well as receiving certifications in Italy, New Zealand, Norway, and the United Kingdom. He has collaborated with various artists including on the song "Insomnia" by Audien. On February 5, 2016, he released his extended play release The Temple EP on Sony Music with a full studio album due later on RCA Records.
"Lemonade" is a song by American singer, songwriter and producer Adam Friedman featuring Mike Posner. Friedman and Posner co-wrote the song. But when it was not included after some consideration in Posner's album At Night, Alone., Friedman decided to put it on his own album also personalizing the song by tweaking certain lyrics. For example, Friedman, who lives on the United States West Coast, changed Carolina in the lyrics to California.
AudioDamn! is a Soul/Pop/Rock trio from Germany. The band made up of Austrians Oliver "Oli" Wimmer (vocals/guitar) and Ali Grumeth (guitar/bass/vocals) and German Daniel "Mudi" Mudrack was formed in 2011 in Mannheim, Germany. They released their self-titled debut EP AudioDamn! EP on Jan 8, 2016 featuring the singles "Radar" and "Lights Out". The band is signed to the Epic Records label since 2015.
Secret Weapons is a Brooklyn-based American pop band made up of Gerry Lange and Danny Rocco. The duo is signed to the label Epic Records, where Rocco worked as a lawyer in the label's legal department. They released their self-titled EP Secret Weapons in 2016.
