Ocean Park Standoff is an American pop band made up of Samantha Ronson, Pete Nappi, and Ethan Thompson. Their debut EP was released on Hollywood Records on March 3, 2017.

History

The three band members originally met at a songwriting session in 2014. [1] Ronson is an English musician/DJ and the sister of DJ/producer Mark Ronson; Ethan Thompson is an American vocalist and songwriter, and Pete Nappi is an American drummer/producer. [2] The band was formed in 2016. [3] [4]

Their debut single "Good News" was released on October 7, 2016, [5] along with its B-side, "Photos & Liquor". [6] "Good News" reached number 13 on the Billboard Adult Pop Songs chart, [7] and was on Amazon's Most Requested Lyrics list of 2017. [8]

Their debut EP was released on Hollywood Records on March 3, 2017.[ citation needed ] On February 2, 2018, they released their second single, "Lost Boys (Ocean Park Standoff vs Seeb)", in collaboration with Seeb. [9] On April 27, 2018, they released the single "If You Were Mine" featuring Lil Yachty. [10] The video for "If You Were Mine" premiered on July 12, 2018. [11]

Performances

Ocean Park Standoff embarked on a US tour starting in February 2017. [6] In February 2017, the band was chosen as Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month, and performed their hit "Good News" live on February 22 on NBC's Today show hosted by Kathie Lee Gifford. [12] In the summer of 2017, the band went on a US tour with Third Eye Blind and Silversun Pickups. [13] The band performed on June 29, 2017 at Bear's Den Showroom inside Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel for listeners of Star 102.5 (WTSS) in Buffalo, New York. Starting in February 2018, the band opened for AJR on The Click Tour. [14] On April 30, 2018, the band performed "If You Were Mine" on Conan . [15] The band went on tour with Plain White T's in the summer of 2018. [16]

On October 9, 2018, the band did a warm up performance before the 2018 American Music Awards. [17] On October 10, 2018 the band returned to Buffalo, New York as a part of their fall tour to perform at Pink Party 2018 [18] for listeners of Star 102.5 (WTSS). The annual concert benefits Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. They also performed their single "If You Were Mine" in-studio on Rob Lucas In The Morning during their visit. [19]

Robert Eibach is an American, multi-Grammy and Latin Grammy Award nominated artist, producer, recording engineer, musician, DJ and remixer. Eibach is a band member and one of the producers on The Lucky Band album Paseo Lunar, which was nominated for a 2020 Latin Grammy Award in the Children's category. He worked on Winds of Samsara by Ricky Kej and Wouter Kellerman, which won a Grammy® Award for Best New Age Album. Also, Eibach contributed his work on Wouter Kellerman's 2015 album Love Language, which earned a Grammy® Nomination for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album. In 2015, Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band earned a Latin Grammy Award nomination for their children's album Adelante, which Eibach was an engineer on. Eibach contributed Billboard charting remixes for Ariana Grande, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson, Camila Cabello, Jennifer Lopez among others. Robert Eibach earned his first Grammy nomination as a member of Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band for their release Crayon Kids in the Best Children's Album category at the 64th Grammy Awards. The album Los Fabulosos by Lucky Diaz and The Family Jam Band was also nominated for a 65th Grammy Award in the Children's Category, which featured Eibach's remix of Mi Gusta, as well as his contributions as a musician and engineer.

Norwegian music production duo Seeb have released one studio album, three extended plays, thirty singles, and a number of remixes.

<i>Amends</i> (album) 2020 studio album by Grey Daze

Amends is the third studio album by American rock band Grey Daze composed of Chester Bennington's vocals from the 1990s over newly recorded instrumentals. "What's in the Eye" was released as the first single from the project on January 17, 2020, and was co-produced by Chris Traynor, Kyle Hoffman and Jay Baumgardner. The second single, "Sickness", featuring Page Hamilton and produced by Pete Nappi, was released on February 6. The release of the album was postponed from April 10 to June 26 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
